Hon. Temilola Adibi, Former Oyo Lawmaker, Dies After Morning Jog
Former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Temilola Adibi, has passed away at the age of 64. The tragic news was confirmed by sources who revealed that Adibi, who represented the Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency in Oyo State from 1999 to 2003, passed away on Tuesday morning.
Adibi, who was a member of the defunct Alliance for Democracy party, would have celebrated his 65th birthday in April. According to reports, he tragically passed away following a jog in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, earlier on Tuesday.
In addition to his time in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adibi had an impactful political career, serving as the Director General of the Bill and Signage Board in Oyo State during Governor Seyi Makinde’s first term. He also served as Chairman of the Ogbomoso North Local Government Area before his time in the National Assembly.
His passing has left the Oyo community and many others in mourning, as tributes from across the region continue to pour in.
