Kebbi’s Mega Rally: RHAN Credits Tinubu and State Leaders for Historic Turnout
Leaders of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Network (RHAN) have hailed the large turnout at a recent political rally in Kebbi State, attributing the success to President Bola Tinubu’s efforts and the leadership of prominent state figures.
The group, which was pivotal in campaigning for Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election, specifically credited the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, and Governor Nasir Idris for their leadership in driving political success in the state.
This rally was organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to launch the campaign for the re-election of both President Tinubu and Governor Idris ahead of the 2027 elections. The event, held at the Township Stadium in Birnin Kebbi, saw a sea of supporters and featured key political figures such as Minister Bagudu, Governor Idris, Honourable James Faleke, and Minister of State for Education Yusuf Tanko Sununu.
A Performance-Based Campaign for a Second Term
During his address to the crowd, Senator Bagudu praised both President Tinubu and Governor Idris for their outstanding performances in office. He argued that their achievements in less than two years of leadership justified their bid for a second term. The rally, titled “We Stand with Tinubu and Kauran Gwandu,” served as a powerful show of support for the APC leadership in the state.
Renewed Hope Ambassadors Celebrate APC’s Success in Kebbi
In response to the rally, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Network emphasized that the APC remains the dominant political force in Kebbi. According to reports from the Kebbi chapter of the network, the APC’s widespread support is clear, and any governor who delivers results will naturally secure strong backing for re-election.
The group further praised former Governor Atiku Bagudu for his legacy of good governance, which continues to shape the state’s political landscape. His leadership, alongside that of Governor Idris, has ensured that Kebbi remains peaceful, unified, and on a path of progress, distinguishing the state from others where internal conflicts hinder development.
Federal Projects Highlight Tinubu’s Commitment to Kebbi’s Growth
Hon Ahmed Yahaya, the spokesman for RHAN, highlighted that President Tinubu’s administration, through Bagudu’s efforts, has brought significant federal investments to Kebbi. The state will see multi-billion-naira projects allocated for both the 2024 and 2025 fiscal years. Among the major projects underway are the Natsini-Kangiwa-Kamba Road, valued at N35 billion, the Malamfari-Ngaski-Warah Road, and developments on the Sokoto-Kebbi-Badagry Superhighway and Koko-Mahuta-Dabai Road. Yahaya believes that these projects will bring about substantial changes in the state by the end of Tinubu’s four-year term.
Through this series of initiatives, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Network is confident that Kebbi State is poised for continued transformation, driven by the collaborative efforts of both the federal government and the state leadership.
