Funeral ceremony of the late former governor of Ondo State, Rotmi Akeredolu, has commenced in Akure, the state capital.
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and his Bayelsa State counterpart, Duoye Diri and other dignitaries are present at the lying in state and commendation service currently holding at the Akure Township Stadium.
Akeredolu, who died on December 27, 2023, would be buried on Friday in Owo, his home town.
