Yusuf Imam, the Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government in Kano State, has appointed 60 individuals to serve in various positions within his administration. The appointments, announced on January 6, 2024, include roles such as personal aides, special assistants, directors-general, and special reporters. The announcement was made in a letter signed by the Local Government Secretary, Hon. Ado Muhd Hotoro.
The appointees were selected based on merit, dedication, honesty, and a commitment to improving the local government’s operations. Imam emphasized that these appointments aim to enhance the efficiency and service delivery of the council to the people of Nassarawa.
Some of the key appointments include Jamilu D. Attahir as Principal Personnel Secretary, Rabilu Muhd Gama as Personal Assistant on Documentation, and Kabiru Ishak Hannafi as Personal Assistant on Domestic Affairs. Other notable appointees are Hassan Shehu Adamu, who will serve as Special Assistant for Media, Auwal Abdullahi as Chief Protocol, and Halima Abubakar, appointed as Women Leader.
Imam expressed confidence in the new appointees’ abilities and urged them to execute their duties with dedication and commitment, as part of his ongoing efforts to promote development in the local government area.
