Nathaniel Bassey to celebrate birthday with kirikiri inmates

Gospel artiste Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has announced plans to celebrate his birthday with inmates at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.

Bassey declared this on Tuesday on Instagram, noting the celebration would feature a one-day Halleluyah Challenge within the prison.

He wrote: “Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in the prisons!”

The Hallelujah Challenge, a worship movement led by Bassey, has gained global recognition for uniting thousands in worship and prayer sessions online.

This decision to extend the movement to Kirikiri inmates signified his commitment to spreading hope and the message of the gospel beyond conventional boundaries.
