NBA Advises Lawyers To Use The Portal And App For New BPF Billing
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has notified all legal practitioners that the deadline for payment of Bar Practicing Fees (BPF) for 2024 is March 31, 2024.
In a statement, the General Secretary, Adesina Adegbite announced that payment commences from January 1 and members are to pay via the NBA portal or newly launched NBA Digital App.
He urged members yet to register their profiles on the portal to immediately do so in order to access the payment platforms. Links to the portal and app download stores were provided.
Distinguishing features between the valid NBA app and a defunct version were also outlined to prevent confusion. Unique capabilities of the NBA Digital App include bar services, BPF payments, verified lawyer search, career openings and more.
The NBA notified its members in preparation for the new billing cycle, advising lawyers to leverage the digital options that will ease fee payments and unlock added benefits.
