NDYM commends Tinubu, Momoh for palliatives distributed to flood victims

The Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), a prominent youth advocacy group, has commended President Bola Tinubu for the distribution of palliatives to flood victims across the country through the Ministry of Regional Development.

In a statement signed by its National President, Comrade Major Frank Ekene, and National Secretary, Comrade Ediagbonya Joshua Osamuyi, the group acknowledged the positive impact of the palliatives in alleviating the suffering caused by the flood disaster.

“The National Executive Council of the Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM), the umbrella youth organization representing the nine states of the Niger Delta Region, appreciates your demonstration of benevolence to our people.

“We also commend President Tinubu for building upon the regional development initiatives of his predecessor through the establishment of subsequent geopolitical Regional Commissions. This will undoubtedly accelerate development in the region,” the statement read.

The group further expressed gratitude for the flood relief assistance extended to its members and welcomed the integration of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs into the Ministry of Regional Development.

Additionally, NDYM congratulated Abubakar Momoh on his reappointment and elevation as the Minister of Regional Development. They described the Youth Empowerment Training Programme initiated by his ministry as a commendable step towards addressing youth unemployment and fostering capacity building.

The NDYM reaffirmed its readiness to support Minister Momoh’s administration and serve as a reliable pillar for President Tinubu’s leadership, especially in advancing his second-term developmental agenda.
