These include two Superintendents of Police who were demoted to Deputy Superintendents, one Deputy Superintendent reduced to Assistant Superintendent, and three Assistant Superintendents now downgraded to Inspectors.
Furthermore, ten senior police officers received severe reprimands for unauthorised disclosure of official secrets, dishonesty, sabotage, and other conduct unbecoming of their rank. Nine others were reprimanded, while a Deputy Commissioner of Police was exonerated.
In addition to the disciplinary measures, the Commission promoted several senior officers, including 11 Commissioners of Police to Assistant Inspectors General, 16 Deputy Commissioners to Commissioners, and 21 Assistant Commissioners to Deputy Commissioners, among others.
