President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Attending Ghana’s Inauguration

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending the inauguration of Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama, in Accra, Ghana. Tinubu traveled to Ghana on Tuesday at the personal invitation of Mahama, who had visited the Nigerian leader earlier in December.

Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for the Presidency, had earlier confirmed that Tinubu’s attendance at the event was in honor of Mahama’s invitation, where he served as a special guest of honor.

The President’s arrival in Abuja was announced through a video posted by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Wednesday, January 8. The post confirmed Tinubu’s return after participating in Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony.
