Punish those with PCVs but refuse to vote – Shehu Sani

Former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has said that there should be punishment for those who collected the Permanent Voter’s Card, PVC, but refused to vote.

Sani made this call via his official X handle on Sunday.

The ex-lawmaker said such will tackle the issue of poor turnout on election days.

“Heavy fine should be imposed for those who collected PVC but refused to vote.

“That is the best way to address the problem of low voter turnout,” he said.
