RCCG’s Pastor Adeboye Warns Against Fire Outbreaks, Storms, and Floods in 2025
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has issued a caution to Nigerians about the potential for fire outbreaks and other natural disasters across the country.
Preaching at the church’s February Thanksgiving service at the Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Adeboye urged the congregation to remain vigilant and prayerful, especially in light of increasing fire incidents globally.
“I must share something very urgent,” Pastor Adeboye began. “At the beginning of this year, one of the prophecies was to pray against fire outbreaks, storms, and floods. We’ve only spent one month, and we’ve already seen the rate of fire incidents across the world. Nigeria is part of the world, and we must be prayerful.”
The cleric specifically warned farmers to avoid burning bushes while preparing their lands for cultivation, as it could contribute to fire outbreaks.
“Don’t joke with any form of naked fire around you,” Adeboye stressed. “Farmers, please don’t burn bushes while preparing your farms. Don’t say I didn’t tell you. May the Almighty God answer our prayers and grant our requests.”
Pastor Adeboye’s message comes as fire-related incidents continue to pose a threat, with the clergy urging national prayer and awareness to prevent further disasters.
