Read report comparing, Buhari, Tinubu govt in European magazine – Obi to critics

A former presidential aide of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has reacted to a recent report by European Magazine, The Economist on the handling of insecurity across the country by the Tinubu administration.

The Economist had in its January 18, 2024 report, highlighted the spate of insecurity bedevilling Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja.

The magazine claimed that kidnappers are wreaking havoc in Nigeria, adding that President Tinubu’s security plan is worryingly like his predecessor’s.

But reacting to the latest report by the magazine, Obi directed those attacking him and his Obidient movement to go through the story.

According to him, “For those who have continued to see my issue-based constructive criticism of a bad system as bad and are maligning my person and the Obidients for seeking good governance and a better future for all Nigerians, let them now read this report from the respected international newsmagazine, The Economist of London and do the same.”
