Retired Justice Ajileye recently presented the 9th Badagry Bar Lecture.
Retired Justice (Dr) Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye is scheduled to deliver the 9th annual bar lecture of the Badagry Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association this morning. He will address the topic, “Leveraging Emerging Legal Challenges to the Rule of Law in the Prevailing Social-Economic Realities in Nigeria,” as part of the 9th Annual Law Week celebrations of the branch. The event will be chaired by distinguished jurist Mr. Taiwo Kupolati, SAN, Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Law Publishers, publisher of the All Federation Weekly Law Report.
The lecture will take place at the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, Ijanikin, along Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Lagos State. The week’s activities also include visits to correctional facilities, picnics, and a Bar Dinner.
Justice Ajileye retired from the bench of Kogi State High Court in February this year and has since joined the faculty of Baze University. He is highly regarded by lawyers and institutions within and outside Nigeria, especially in the field of electronic evidence. According to a statement from B. C. Okoro, Esq, Chairman of the Law Week Planning Committee, members of the Badagry Branch are eagerly anticipating an intellectually stimulating lecture by Justice Ajileye, a respected jurist known for his scholarly expertise.
