Senator Ndume Visits Maiduguri: A Show of Solidarity with Victims of Boko Haram Attack
Senator Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, recently paid a visit to the headquarters of the Nigerian Army’s Joint Task Force, North East, operating under ‘Operation Hadin Kai’ in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.
During the visit, Senator Ndume took a moment to express his heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the tragic Boko Haram attack on Sabon Gari Village in the Damboa Local Government Area, which occurred last Saturday. The attack left several lives lost and many others injured.
In addition to offering condolences, Senator Ndume used the visit as an opportunity to assess the military’s ongoing efforts in the fight against insurgency in the region. He commended the troops for their unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety of both civilians and property in the face of these challenges.
Before concluding his visit, the Senator also offered prayers for the quick recovery of those injured in the Damboa attack, hoping for their swift return to health.
