Senator Remi Tinubu Honors Nigeria’s Ex-Military Leaders with Heartwarming Visits

On Tuesday, First Lady Senator Remi Tinubu made a series of courtesy visits to two prominent former military leaders in Minna, Niger State. Accompanied by Hajia Nana Shettima, the wife of the Vice President, Senator Tinubu first visited former Military President General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd) at his residence. The visit was an opportunity for the First Lady to check on General Babangida’s health and well-being, while also engaging in discussions of mutual interest.

Afterward, Senator Tinubu proceeded to the home of General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), former Head of State, where she continued her goodwill visit. General Abdulsalami expressed heartfelt gratitude for the visit, calling it a “heartwarming gesture.” He commended the First Lady for her concern over his health and welfare.

Justice Fati Abubakar, the wife of General Abdulsalami and former First Lady, was also present during the visit, warmly receiving Senator Tinubu and her delegation.

These visits reflect a strong commitment to fostering unity and support among Nigeria’s leaders, as the First Lady continues to engage with influential figures across the country.
