Senator Yari Mourns Victims of Tragic Airstrike in Zamfara Village

Senator Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar, representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, has expressed profound sympathy for the victims of a recent airstrike in Tungar-Kara, Maradun Local Government Area, Zamfara State. The airstrike, initially aimed at neutralizing fleeing bandits, tragically resulted in the deaths of several innocent civilians in the village.

In a statement released by Al’mansoor Gusau, the Director-General of Media for Senator Yari, the senator extended his condolences to the families of the victims. He also called for calm in the face of this tragedy and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.

Senator Yari prayed for the deceased to be accepted as martyrs and granted eternal rest in Aljannah Firdausi. While acknowledging the military’s ongoing efforts to combat banditry, he urged more caution in future operations to prevent further unintended casualties.

The senator concluded his statement by reaffirming his commitment to peace and prosperity for both Zamfara State and the entire nation.
