“Tinubu Appoints Mansur Muhtar as Board Chairman of Bank of Industry, Announces New Leadership Team”
President Bola Tinubu has appointed a new board for the Bank of Industry (BOI).
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying Tinubu named Mansur Muhtar as the board chairman.
He said Muhtar’s career spans decades in finance, international development, public service, and academia.
Other board members are the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Olasupo Olusi; Executive Director of Large Enterprises, Ifeoma Uz’Okpala and Executive Director of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shekarau Omar.
Also on the board are the Executive Director of Corporate Services, Usen Effiong; Executive Director of Public Sector and intervention programmes, Mabel Ndagi and Executive Director of Corporate Finance and Risk Management, Rotimi Akinde.
The President also appointed Tajudeen Datti Ahmed as the Non-Executive Director, representing the Ministry of finance incorporated; Adedamola Olufemi Young as the Non-Executive Director, representing the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN); Isaac Adefemi Agoye, Non-Executive, representing the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).
Others are Muhammad Bala, Non-Executive, representing the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment; Oreoluwa Adeyemi, Independent Non-Executive Director, and Sulaiman Musa Kadira, Independent Non-Executive Director.
