Tinubu, Shettima will take Nigeria to greater heights, says Betara
One of the leading aspirants for the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Muktar Betara Aliyu has expressed confidence that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will take Nigeria to higher heights having delivered dividends of democracy to his people in the past.
Betara congratulated the President and his vice, Senator Shettima Kashim on their successful inauguration as they lead the country to greater heights.
He also congratulated governors of 28 states who were also inaugurated on Monday.
In a statement he personally signed, Betara said there was no doubt that the President and Vice- President, both successful former governors and former Senators in their capacities, will take Nigeria to higher heights having delivered dividends of democracy to their respective states of Lagos and Borno respectively.
He asked Nigerians to give their maximum support to the new leaders to perform and recover the nation towards the path of security, socio-economic revival, unity, and development.
Betara said when elected Speaker, he would lead a vibrant House of Representatives that would align with the aspirations and policy focus of the Tinubu government which centred around security, unity and development, youth and women empowerment, and the restructuring of the nation for maximum progress.
