  3. Marcklyn says:

You are not just stupid but an idiot, the idiotic lawyer is talking garbage, do you even know the pain the stupid Abayomi put us through, did you even bother to investigate the scandal of AAS, please stop spreading fake news to gain cheap popularity, you may regret when it’s too late, wait and see , I’m not a Nigerian

Jessam has clean hands, unless you want to tell us who live outside Nigeria that your judicial system is not working, by doing so you are telling us that Nigeria is a bad country where someone like Abayomi steals money and nothing is done about it, is that what you want?

  4. Big C says:

STOP SPEWING FALSEHOOD AND MISINFORMATION. DO YOUR FINDINGS AND GET YOURFA TS RIGHT.

THIS IS A MISGUIDED OPINION AND NOT A STATEMENT OF FACT. STOP BEING BIASED.

HOW CAN YOU STAND HERE AND RULE OVER A CASE THATS STILL IN COURT?
A MATTER THAT ALREADY HAS CONFESSIONAL STATEMENT FROM THE PERPETRATOR OF THE SAID CRIME.

YOURE A DISGRACE TO THE LEGAL PROFESSION.

  5. Vitus Nwachukwu says:

I think he was only stopped from peddling faults hood, he was not attached. He was trying to change the narrative of the whole matter, I don’t think lawyers should be lying to the public in such manner. Commenting on a case that is already in court and yet to be concluded in that was really disappointing.

  6. Joybell Digbani says:

I respect the noble profession of law but I believe there are some bad eggs bringing this honourable profession to a disrepute.

The lawyer in question was ill informed by his clients and he’s peddling false information against a legally registered company in Nigeria.

As a respectable body, I would want you people to conduct your own investigation in order to ascertain the real information about this matter.

The lawyer was giving a judgement on a matter that is before a competent court of the land. If he has anything against the company he should prove to the court beyond reasonable doubt. Please as a body call your member to order.

Do you even know that the so called lawyer in that clip is defending those are not Investors in the system? Let’s apply wisdom in all we are doing please.
Feel free to make research on AAS.

  8. Augustine says:

@NBA should know the truth behind the ongoing Saga of 87 million USD theft by one Mr Abayomi Oluwasesan who took advantage of his Boss ill health to defraud AFRIQ ARBITRAGE SYSTEM. Those guys that Barrister Maxwell Opara mentioned as the victim of Cyber crime are pure fallacy. They are not investors with AAS, they claimed to be freedom fighters after been apprehended by the police and were asked to provide their accounts on the AAS platform and couldn’t. They have been charged with cyber bullying, Cyber stalking, threat to life and defaming the name and character of the CEO of Africa Arbitrage System. As I speak to you, they have a WhatsApp group where they are contributing Money inorder to pay their lawyers. They are the scammers in disguise, paid to cause confusion and defame the company name AAS. AAS is a Crypto Arbitrage platform that is decentralise and built purely on the Blockchain. I’m an investor on the platform and I will beat my chest to tell you that AAS is legit and real. Abayomi a staff and developer working with the tech department of the company(AAS) took advantage of the health challenge of the CEO who handed over secret portfolios to him before travelling to India for a liver transplant, hacked into the system and stole a whopping sum of 87 million dollars. Abayomi was arrested in Tanzania after running from UK to Dubai, Ghana etc. The matter was reported to the court, and Abayomi confessed to his crime and was ready to return properties and money stolen by him to the tone of 87million USD. Abayomi was granted bail only to start acquiring new luxury cars and houses again and he sent a message to the CEO of AAS that he used fake IG , fake Interpol and police to take away his hard earned money(Money he Stole from AAS), that he’s coming after the CEO and his family coupled with Michael Okoh, Humble Eteng, Engineer OMA, Donald UBI, Dennis Okoi etc going over the social media to spread false news and start threatening the CEO. There was an assassination attempt on the life of the CEO in his Lounge in Ikeja. I took my time to feed people with this little brief to enable netizens have a rudimentary knowledge of this current Saga. let government and the world hear our cry.

  9. Ibogu Timothy says:

The story is a lie…Jesam Michael the CEO didnt disable withdraw…he didn’t scam the investor instead a scammer within who was the Head developer interrupted the system when the CEO went for liver transplant by making away with the sum of $87m and ofcourse confessed to his crime and this begins the problem in the platform but as God may have it…the CEO had build back investors capital and still building up the Liquidity pool currently trading with ROI of 0.35% per week as the system is still recovering

  10. Ayodele Atoju says:

Your facts are not actually correct, have you asked Mr Maxwell what case brought him to court and what information he was reeling out to the press. Well that is by the way , I am an investor with the said platform likewise many others around the globe and no one in his right senses would dare say AAS has left them poorer the system was sabotaged by an employee whose case is currently in court who pilfered away with 87$ million of investors funds . Yes the system may not have been paying 63•5% due to this mishap , but work is on going to return things back to normal. Afriq arbitrage system ain’t a scam pls this is for the records.

  11. Nigaraw says:

Just dey play with ur mumu article that charge and bail lawyer deserves more than that beating

    Nonsense

  12. Ayodele Atoju says:

https://youtu.be/q48-9WzwSfk?si=Rc-FD90p8vrvbyu1 this a the reason our learned friend Mr Maxwell was in court and he veered off to address an issue that did not bring him to court for the records pls should he say he was in court to defend those victims of AAS 2 of the 3 people hee is representing dont even have accounts with the arbitrage system.

  13. Promise says:

Fake lawyer AAS is a legit company and we are making our money day b4 Abayomi thief came in to steal our money $87million dollar please government we need justice oooo

  14. loma says:

  15. Dagim Amare says:

I am an investor in AAS. I’m from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
AAS and Jesam are legit. The propaganda against the CEO of AAS JESAM Michael, is a lie. As an investor I witness the legitimacy of the company and it’s CEO. A former employee of this company names Abayomi Oluwasesan stole $87M from the company and this caused a lot to the investors of AAS. Abayomi is now in prison, he confessed he stole the mentioned money. Now this Lawyer trying to deny the truth is an embarrassing and unprofessional. It also diminishes the trust and respect in the professional of lawyers. How can a professional who is thought to stand for justice stands for criminals and tries to tell fake stories which doesn’t exist🤔
    Shame on the lawyer, Okpara.
Justice to AAS, it’s CEO and investors ✊

  16. Philip Ayisah says:

Please give us the true picture of the event. The lawyer misconducted himself by involving himself in an argument outside the court room.He should know how to manage people rathr tham the $7 per client.

  17. Zion says:

When a lawyer trying to defend lies in the public and in the presence of the oppressed, this is the result. This is an international fraud. The suspect has admitted to the crime. Why not condemned this and invite foreign investors to come grow your economy that chasing them away with lies by a lawyer? They need to fight.

  21. Margaret says:

Did you expect to be pampered after saying lies?. A lawyer fabricating lies about an opponent is unacceptable. Am wondering how a disciplined lawyer can address people concerning a case in court 🤔🤔🤔🤔

  22. Miracle Osinachi Peter says:

AAS paid Me from Feb till April before abayomi shutdown the system.
I made over 500 Usdt within the shot period of time with the little I invested. AAS paid from 1.65% to 3 to 5% weekly for three months. so if you don’t know what to say just shot your trap. because AAS Is real and Is bouncing back better to where it was.
I believe in AAS trading I love jesam Michael his an honest Man.

  23. oluseyi says:

This is news is fake 🤥🤥……AAS is legit company… just must serve on this case.

  24. Alex says:

Why should a lawmaker be supporting and defending evil. Forgetting that the law is a respecter of no man. Abayomi as confess to his crime, dornal ubi, okoi, and the rest of them who were cyber bullying, jesam and AAS confess. Remember to you that is standing to defend evil, the law does not know her marker when u defend wrongly you also will be judge. Be wise

  25. Favour Oba says:

This is so sad! We cannot trust reportage from our media any longer?
Everyone saw what happened, including the video. When has shoving between a lawyer and an aggrieved investor turned to “violent attack”??
Barr. Maxwell is simply looking for a distraction from the issue on ground, namely that the criminals standing behind have been cyber bullying, defaming AAS and it’s CEO and threatening his life and family’s life even though Jesam never scammed anyone. The irregular ROI is due to Abayomi’s theft of N87m from the company!
The lawyer is only looking for distraction because he knows the evidences against his clients are overwhelming!!
I am confident investor in AAS
    Kindly investigate properly please

  26. Frank Odili says:

Please this story is no true. Jesam Michael and ASS company is not a scam, you people should get your fact right before publishing stories. I am an investor in AAS, and I repeat AAS is a legit platform, Jesam Michael is not a scammer, it’s a man we believe and trust.

  27. Funso says:

In all honesty, thorough investigation should be made by NBA before taking side.
Mr Maxwell opara was alledging Jesam Michael of defrauding investor globally of $100m and the investors who knew the true stories stood against such allegation immediately.
One employee called Abayomi Stole $87m from the system and already confessed to the crime, the case is on ongoing at Abuja high court.
The people Mr Maxwell opara pointed to in the clip have no account in AAS.They only claimed to be freedom fighters.

For justice to prevail, let’s make our findings right before social media trial.

    ASS want justice.
    ASS must be Returned.
Cyber stalking, bulling, names calling must be pay for.

  28. Vuyolwethu Mbutho says:

It is a great shame and painful to justice system of Nigeria to see the supposed learner people stooping so low to defend criminals and thus perpetuating crime in their beloved country, THE WORLD IS WATCHING TO SEE JUSTICE IN NIGERIA, AAS IS A LEGIT PLATFORM AND THE HOPE NOT OF JUST AFRICA BUT WHOLE WORLD, LAWYERS SHOULD STAND FOR JUSTICE AND VERIFY THE FACTS BROUGHT TO THEM AND NOT ENGAGE THEMSELVES IN SELLING FAKE NEWS, WHAT MESSAGE ARE SPENDING TO THE WORLD ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY

    https://youtu.be/q48-9WzwSfk?si=Rc-FD90p8vrvbyu1

In the video above is Abayomi the thief that stole AAS investors funds attending his court trial and is on detention for the very crime he confessed both in writing and video to committed.
NIGERIAN LAWYERS SHOULD DEFEND THEIR COUNTRY AND NOT CRIMINALS

  29. Kofi Gabriel says:

Br. Maxwell Okpara, we are greatly disappointed in you for betraying law you have sworn to defend. Because of 7% they promised to give you out of the stolen funds from the innocent investors of Afriq Arbitrage company, instead of standing for justice ⚖️ and uphold the law, u choose to be support and promote crimes and defending a criminal that has already confessed to his crimes that he stole from the investors funds under his custody while the CEO was away for treatment. And they are evidence to this fact! He returned part of the properties he bought with the money and promised to bring back the USD cash, stored in flashdrive. After being granted bail went and started buying more properties instead of returning back the money. Mr Maxwell Okpara, you are among the bad eggs sitting and wearing the same clothes with the good lawyers we have in Nigeria and must be exposed for agreeing to take bribe of 7% out of the stolen funds!

  30. oluseyi says:

THE CASE IS IN COURT AND THE SUSPECT HAS CONFESSED TO HIS CRIMES
BUT MAXWELL PLAY DEFT ERRS OVER IT……HE KNOWS THE TRUTH BUT HE DOESN’T WANT TO SAY IT BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN PAID….

YOU WILL BE PUT TO SHAME.

  31. Patrick says:

NBA need to investigate barrister Maxwell us not just enough to condemned the so call violence against him. As an investor in AAS & AAST JESAM MICHEL is a legit man, who hav a good plans trying to help the government not only Nigeria but across d African & entire world. Maxwell as a lawyer supposed to do genuinely research before he go and defend criminals. He is not a qualified lawyer as far as I am concerned.

  32. Ejokwu Arthur says:

@NBA Please the NBA should kindly find out the truth of this ongoing saga of $87 million theft by Abayomi, the CEO of. Afriq Arbitrage system AA.S did not scam his investor in any way Abayomi took advantage of the CEO I’ll health and duped the company, Barrister maxwell Okpara should try to know everything about a case he embarked on to defend. Because AAS is a legit platform, the system has been paying investors there daily return on investment before Abayomi interrupted the system and do away with investors money, but that not withstanding the CEO took it upon himself to rebuild the system and investors are receiving their ROI weekly though not up to 1.65% as it was but the system is paying investors as we speak now, and it is yet to recover fully.

  33. Sunday Ogunyomi says:

This lawyer fail to do his findings . Those guys he is representing were all making seemless withdrawal of their profits before Abayomi looted the trading platform due to the privileged he has to the passcode to the platform.

And Abayomi was arrested , his facing the trial to return the funds. The platform is still running with little fund while the CEO is trying to recover the stolen fund and also rebuild the trading platform to get us back to nomalcy. Instead of being patient and support the system they gang up to blackmail AAS and the CEO with the aim of bringing down AAS out of jelousy. Many of them did not even have account in AAS.

  34. Ifeama Chukwunonso says:

I don’t understand who wrote this is that person not seeing at all even those he is blind can he or she hear something did they pour cement water in his or her ears can’t you see that Jasem Micheal is a real general investor too in AAS his account is always used as an example when ever he wants to talk to us the investors what the hell is happening here please justice most be served in the right way my point is that boss Jasem Micheal is innocent here period.🤝🫶🏻

  35. Iyobosa Aiyanyo says:

JESAM MICHEAL is a scammer he lured us to deposit on his platform by showing us faked $10,000 withdrawals which he made .those has since been proven to be fake and non existence on the blockchain. Those people are helping us investors to get our capital back which has been locked up for over a year now we have been unable to withdraw. JESAM is just using the abayomi thief as a smoke screen we want our capital back period

  36. Victor says:

Am ashamed of lawyers like Okpara who cares about nothing but to stand in front of a camera to lie to the world just because of pea nut he was promised,

AAS is a legit platform and it’s real
We are the real investors of AAS not some Ponzi masters crying on social media because JESAM has opened people’s eyes on how to dictate them.

They want to bring down our AAS , but the table has turned they will all go to jail.

Always do your findings before jumping into a matter you don’t know anything about.

  37. Miracle Osinachi Peter says:

Lawyers today Now takes cases as business,, to defend criminals Even if they are aware they are guilty of their offense but they will still come to defend rubbish.
imagen someone who calls himself a lawyer saying lie’s to the world. with All the evidence in the court And All the Court appearances THIS unqualified lawyers in support of fraudulent activities of abayomi And His team Is accusing AAS company And jesam the CEO of scam without verification.
I think the same charge holding denok group, okoi, humbly and the rest of them should equally hold this unqualified lawyer. AAS as a company should take it up for the lawyer to personally defend his accusations. no One Is above the law.

  38. Ogunjimi olalekan says:

Pls to whom it may concern Mr oma and Mr okoh Micheal are not investors in AAS trading platform. They were hired by group of people that don’t want the progress of AAS. I am an investor with evidence of okoh saying he will bring Jesam Micheal down since he arrest Abayomi that took investors money. Kindly create space for the video if you want it. We should stand for progress of our own not looking for downfall of a fellow black man. Pls ask the lawyer and those he is defending to provide their account of trading in AAS for clarification. Thank you

  39. IBIANG Ubi says:

This is false claims against AAS. AAS was paying all of us (it investors) very well with a percentage of 1.65 ROI before Abayomi came in and disrupted the platform.

ABAYOMI who stole $87m in Afriq Arbitrage System (AAS) have before now admitted and confessed to his crime. He has also signed a document where he mentioned all the properties he used part of the money he stole in AAS to buy.

I advice you all to stop all this fake lies, propaganda and cyberbullying.

  40. Kayode says:

Maxwell opara you have shown your face here again in AAS case trying to give those that are guilty justice …it will not go well with you this time …the thief Abayomi in question has confessed his crimes in the law court and all evidences of this is with the police already there is no need of defending a criminal that has duly confess to his crime .. if not. Because of your dubious lifestyle you won’t be trying to give justice to a guilty person..because he promises to give you 7 % of the criminal abayomi total loot of 87million dollars ….it will never be well with you Maxwell opara leave the case and let justice prevails ..Afrique Aribitrage system is real i am a beneficiary of the system …you cant bring down AAS it is a global legit company

  41. Adeyanju Taiwo pius says:

The lawyer is lying openly against a legitimate organization, registered under the law of the land, those guys, the victims are not investors in AAS company, they are scammers, and they are been charged in the law court for cyberbullying, cyberstalking, defamation of characters, threatening of life against AAS and CEO. The AAS company were doing very well with their investors giving them a return of investments at when due daily before the attack on the company system by Abayomi , a staff and tech developer who stole huge amounts of $87M, the matter is presently in court ,Abayomi confessed to the crime. what the is not correct.he should fear God .we investors are enjoying the company as their through recovery.AAS is genuine and legit.

  42. Eluson says:

While it’s unethical and illegal for a lawyer to knowingly tell a lie or fabricate false information against an organization.

    AAS AFRIQUE ARBITRAGE SYSTEM
as an organization committed to integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct, we are deeply concerned by the recent false allegations made against us, by a kindergarten level paid lawyer.

We want to assure the public that these claims are baseless and unfounded. Our actions and practices have always been guided by honesty, fairness, and compliance with the law.

We take any allegations of misconduct seriously and are fully cooperating with any investigations to uncover the truth. We have nothing to hide, and we welcome scrutiny into our operations.

We urge the public to consider the credibility of the source making these allegations and to question the motives behind such false statements. It’s regrettable that individuals may seek to undermine our reputation through deceitful means, but we remain steadfast in our commitment to upholding our values and serving our community with integrity.

We will pursue all legal avenues available to us to defend our reputation and hold those responsible for spreading falsehoods and misinformation accountable.

We appreciate the continued support and trust of our stakeholders, and we remain dedicated to earning and maintaining that trust through our actions and transparency.”

This statement emphasizes the organization’s commitment to honesty and integrity while refuting the false allegations made by the lawyer. It encourages the public to critically evaluate the credibility of the claims and reaffirms the organization’s willingness to cooperate with investigations to uncover the truth. Additionally, it expresses confidence in the organization’s values and principles, reassuring stakeholders of its commitment to ethical conduct.

AAS AFRIQUE ARBITRAGE SYSTEM remains one of the fewest credible financial investment platforms in the world.

  43. Mr zak says:

Jesam Micheal is a scammer who still has the gods to arrest aggrieved investors because they speak out and now abusing their lawyer in court hall

  44. Segun says:

This is pure lie from the pit of hell,Maxwell Okpara knows his clients are the real scammer collecting money by false pretence, cyber bullying, cyberstalking, attempt assasination of Jesam Micheal also been an accomplice of defrauding the AAS platform of about $87million which was initiated by Abayomi which he affirmed to his crime. It has delayed the operations of business.

  45. Ejokwu Arthur says:

Please NBA should know that the so called Abayomi who stole from Afriq Arbitrage system that his case is in curt right now as we speak, and those guys that Barrister Okpara is defending their case are not AAS investors.

  46. Steve says:

The NBA needs to understand the facts of this case. Investors including myself pulled funds to invest in Jesam Michael’s Arbitrage Trading Platform. While Jesam was going through a life threatening surgery, Abayomi Olusegun compromised the platform and stole the funds. Up until that time the AAS platform was working smoothly. Abayomi confessed to his crime and is currently facing trial in Court and the Lawyer should know this. I am not a lawyer but I think it is wrong for Maxwell or whatever his name is to make such categorical comments about a case in court- isn’t this what you lawyers call “subjudiced” or contempt of court”. Have you not asked yourself why people like me who have invested in AAS are still believing in the platform despite all the issues we are having. That is because Jesam Michael has earned the trust of true investors. We need to ask whether all these persons who are trying to kill AAS are actually investors or collaborators with Ponzi masters.

Violence Has No Place In The Halls Of Justice,” — NBA Bwari Branch Condemns Violent Attack On Maxwell Opara Esq At Federal High Court

    BY CORRESPONDENT · MAY 9, 2024

    WhatsAppFacebookTwitterShare
In a disturbing development related to the ongoing alleged Jesam Micheal’s Afriq Arbitrage System (AAS) scandal, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Bwari Branch, has strongly condemned the recent physical attack on Mr. Maxwell Opara, a member of the branch’s executive, within the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

In a statement released today, the NBA Bwari Branch expressed deep distress over the incident, describing it as a deplorable act of violence that strikes at the heart of justice and the rule of law.

“It is deeply distressing to witness an individual being subjected to physical harm and abuse, especially within the supposed sanctuary of justice,” said Akpomiemie Akpomiemie, Publicity Secretary of the NBA Bwari Branch. “Maxwell Opara, like all citizens, deserves the right to safety and security, particularly within the precincts of the legal system.”

The association called for swift and decisive action against the perpetrators, stating that such acts of violence are unacceptable and must be held accountable. “Perpetrators of violence must be held accountable for their actions to ensure that such incidents do not reoccur,” the statement read.

Expressing solidarity with Mr. Opara, the NBA Bwari Branch offered its support during this difficult time and urged relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure justice is served.

“Violence has no place in our society, let alone within the halls of justice,” said Paul B. Daudu, Chairman of the NBA Bwari Branch. “We must all work together to create a safe and conducive environment for the administration of justice and the protection of all individuals within our legal system.”

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of legal professionals within court premises, prompting calls for increased measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.

This incident comes on the heels of a report by Technext, a leading technology news outlet, which exposed Jesam Micheal’s AAS as a massive Ponzi scheme that has left investors from around the world poorer than they were before investing. The article, published on October 20, 2023, titled “How Jesam Micheal’s Afriq Arbitrage System scammed crypto investors globally,”detailed the elaborate scheme that promised a 63.5% return on investment monthly but has now disabled its withdrawal feature, leaving investors unable to access their funds for the past six months.

The attack on Mr. Maxwell Opara, who is believed to be involved in the legal proceedings against Jesam Micheal and his associates.

It’s very wrong to hear from Maxwell alone simply because he’s your colleague and then take sides without hearing from the other party.
We need to be fair in our judgement.

Maxwell Okpara defending a criminal who confessed to his crimes and trying to turn the story around because of what has been promised him is so unprofessional.

AAS is real and the CEO didn’t scam anyone as being purported. Maxwell Okpara should be cautioned to to desist from making inciting statements.

  53. Ruth says:

It will be good for a case to be properly investigated before publishing, this case is the court which u are invited to come and witness on the 14th ,15th and 16th, Abayomi has confess to his crimes, we are all waiting for him to refund our funds which he stole from the company. Its obvious Mr Maxwell opara does not know the real story or he knows but just lying because he has been bribe, how can a full grown and learned man stand for lies. AAS is not a scam, Jesam is a God sent to humanity, till date AAS is working. Most of the people Mr Maxwell opara (the lawyer) is showcasing as investors are not investors in AAS, and u don’t expect the real investors to keep calm when they are been called fake, there must definitely be a reaction from the genuine investors, why will a lawyer be pushing to fight them? After pushing he started shouting, he who lives in a glass house does not throw stone. Justice must prevail.

  54. Solomon says:

Lawyer Maxwell Opara has displayed an act that is demeaning to the Nigerian Legal body as a professional lawyer that he is supposed to be. A case that is already in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria, how can a lawyer of that status claim not to know of such criminal case already in court? Or should we say that he just wants to be led by his own personal gains he wishes to derive from such acts? The case between AAS Trading Platform and it’s CEO versus Abayomi Segun Oluwasesan involving the theft of $87 million by Abayomi Segun Oluwasesan is not a hidden matter. I thought lawyer Maxwell Opara ought to have done his due diligence and be abreast of the truth on ground before coming to the public to defend the obvious. Afriq Arbitrage System AAS, the CEO Jesam Michael are real and genuine with high level of integrity. Those who called themselves freedom fighters who never had or intend to have account or any investment in the company can not be fighting for what they knew nothing about. Let the legal body in Nigeria know this and stop defending those with criminal tendencies and intent.

    Know this:
THE CASE IS IN COURT AND THE SUSPECT HAS CONFESSED TO HIS CRIMES
BUT MAXWELL OPARA PAID DEAF EARS TO IT.

  55. Samuel says:

It’s always good to make write ups especially of public interest with well grounded facts and truth especially for a reputable and professional organisation like the law blog.

All what is portrayed about those criminals EKPA is representing is not true…. First they are not real investors of AAS( Which is a duely registered and legitimate company in Nigeria with all the required registration evide.)

Those criminals are being paraded in court for cyberbullying, cyber stoking, threatening live, defamation of the company and person of JESAM Micheal, who is the CEO of AAS.

The real truth of the matter is AAS is a very legit company,, we have invested and were benefiting from it can attest that all was going well until when a one Abayomi who was a web developer and head of tech team then, and had been I trusted with vital security codes to the company’s block chain pool, decided to defraud the company of $87M when the CEO went abroad for treatment of his terminal illness. The case is in court and it’s a well established fact that even your MEMBER EKPA most be familiar with.

Choosing to defend criminals who want to bring accompany that has helped many people and is trying to bounce back of a big financial setback can not be tolerated. Some of our lives depended on his company and are awaiting for it to bounce back.

It’s unethical and unprofessional for a layer to go in media spreading unfounded lies about the whole matter even when he knows the truth of it. The people he is defending not have accounts with AAS we the real investors know the truth of the whole matter, and we are patient and not complaining. So why should an outsider come mess the plans of the company up?

  56. Atoma'a Gibson says:

This case is in court and the suspects has confessed to there crime, even begging the CEO of forgiveness and letting them to go, but Maxwell Opara is playing deaf over it, because of his greed to extort money from the suspects.

The company can even sue Maxwell Opara over playing deaf over this case.

In fact one of the suspect even threatened the life of the inspector general of police of Nigeria (IG)

You can imagine the mind of people Maxwell Opara is defending openly, he is just destroying his image and I just pity his career for defending evil.

    Nigerians are watching.

AAS is a legit company and the CEO Jesam Michael is never and is not a scam.

  57. Mary says:

This is a case where the thief has confessed to his crime. The case is still in court. Mr Maxwell is ignorant of the case. Next court appearance of Abayomi Oluwasesan is on 14, 15 and 16 of May. If you want to hear the truth book a date and come. Jesam is real AAS is real. A lot of people have testified to that. Let no lawyer come with any form of intimidation to cover the truth. Evidences of those arrested for threat to life, cyber bullying and attempted assassination are everywhere . In conclusion Africa should support it’s own and not to pull it down. Let’s join hand and stop ponzi. That’s what Jesam stand for

  58. James says:

It’s very unfortunate actually that money can make any lawyer pick up any case no matter how absurd and Evil the case may be. Actually this is a case between a reputable global trading organisation with the name,A.A.S Afrique Arbitrage system and some group of people who swore to bring down the company because it went against it’s former employee by the name Abayomi who stole the sum of 87million dollars. Abayomi was arrested and confessed that he actually stole the money and is ready to refund. He already refunded few of the properties he bought with the stolen funds. And the case is currently in a reputable court in Jabi Abuja. And now these men went ahead to be cyber bullying, threatening and defaming the name of the company and that of the CEO in the person of Jesam Michael. It’s funny how they tried to run but where eventually caught and brought to face the law. It’s simple they have all been threatening and calling the company abusive names online tarnishing the image of the legally registered company. Let them come and defend themselves in court with hard evidence. It’s that simple defend yourself or go to jail and still pay compensation fee for all the damages done to the image of the company. Thank you

  59. Patrick says:

I invested in AAS & AAST we are happy for what is happening in the platform before Abayomi came & steal $87 million dollar frm the company, which he has confess to his crime but barrister Maxwell is still going about making noise & making every negative statement against AAS & the CEO. I think barrister Maxwell should not be too big, to humble himself to go after AAS legal team to ask questions. Otherwise at the end of the case when he will see& know the truth it will be a regrettable for him to involve in such issues. Because we AAS Spartans shall not accept lairs. All those that are making noise are in prison because this is a case that is already in the court of law.

  60. Andrews Agbeadzie says:

    AAS is a legit.
Jeasam Michael is a honest person and he is the person who opened my eyes about the way ponzy platforms works online
All the people you saw in the video arguing with the lawyer are all real investors with AAS and can’t look on for the lawyer to liar to the public
It’s their money that was stolen by Abayome who our CEO Jeasam Michael trusted and give him the secret code when he, the CEO was going to have a liver transplant
We the investors with AAS henceforth will not sit down and watch anybody to drag the name of our CEO and AAS company to the gutters anymore
    Awuuuuuuuuuu, Awuuuuuuuuuu
God bless Jeasam Michael and his family and AAS
Long live AAS, Long live AAS

  61. Saidu Usman says:

Please always do investigation before you come out to say what ever! you feel like. Whatc the video very well and tell us who started the pushing? where is it a right for a lawyer to push some one or come out to say things that are not true.
Maxwell Opara is a disgrace to law profession.

  62. Samuel Ogodeton says:

It’s a lie, we investor are not scammer by Jesam. Rather the CEO Jesam is building the system back because of the thief that stole 87 million dollars from it and the case is in court… Go there and verified for your self. The criminal confessed to the crime…

  63. daniel etim says:

It’s so unfortunate that we are where we are today. AAS platform was all good until an insider struck and made away with our funds amounting to 80mil dollars. The ceo went after the culprit arrested him and the case is in court currently.

The ceo has rebuild the same system back and is trading currently while pleading for the investors to be patient for the system to integrated for the smooth run.

Group of unscrupulous betrayals decided to accuse the ceo of stealing funds and threatening his life and family and the ceo went after them by the rules of the law.

Now their lawyer is twisting things out of proportion. He has decided to pay a deaf ear to the whole story coming out with a different stories because their client has promise to pay them 7 percent of the stolen money.

This is what causes the whole commotion.
    AAS is real.
Jesam Micheal is not a scammer.

    Abayomi is the culprit here.

  64. Irfan says:

Iam a AAS invester AAS is Genuine and legit Mr Jesam is honest man with in abayomi web developer stolen all 87 billion Dollars in AAS we are fighting for justice iam from india abayomi should vomit all our Money and Flash Drive we are waiting for justice paid lawyers are There with abayomi the lawyer should suspend with immediate effect

  65. John Anaga says:

AAS platform remains the best platform ever seen. Jesam Michael didn’t scam the community. We’re in pain today because of Abayomi who stole $87million from our platform. I plead for justice to be done, we need our money back. AAS and AAST are legit business. Our CEO Jesam is a honest Man. We believe in his vision. Very soon the world will testify about the goodness of AAS and AAST

  66. Charles says:

It’s funny how hungry our lawyers has become.. spreading fake news and defending criminals. That lawyer was busy feeding the media with wrong information with confidence. AAS is a reputable platform and as a subscriber to it an 100% confident in AAS…BECAUSE ITS LEGIT AND AUTHENTIC

  67. Agbos says:

Jesam Michael is a fraudulent person that is why he didn’t allow the lawyer to make his statement, the man that puch they lawyer is part of Jesam camp. All the aggrieved investors need there Capital as you promised before we venture into your fake projects. We need our capital back, we are not interested in AAS.

  68. Albert says:

No wander Lawyer Opara will rise up and defend a hangry gang of fraudsters who have no business with AAS Company who pretend to be freedom at their own interest all because a worker in AAS company has stolen investors money and the Company and CEO and the investors are going after the perpetrator of the crime. This is on head of . But truth crashed to the shall surely raise again lies will tribe but only for a moment, only truth shall stand. Abayomi will surely face the full wrath of the law but lawyer Opara and his scammer will be put to shame. Oshawa alla

  69. laverne says:

it is simple really…look they just want to bring down a proven legit documented platform because this unique platform is killing ponzi….ponzi masters want to get rich overnight by robbing innocent people instead of earning steady and safely like everyone else..ie aas afriq arbitrage is the only arbitrage real system that trades which has also been proven to us ….and deep down these defending lawyers who are defending the crooks knows it…but they just need money…it hurt the lawyer when ceo stepped in to request his nonsense statement be stopped which he said to the tv station and not directly at the ponzi lawyer…if you watch the video carefully and you will see that…and see the lawyer look like he wanted to start a fight….what a terrible example of a barrister….

  70. Paul Smilze says:

This Pure Lies. We the Investors have been following up the matter from day one. Those who keep calling Jesam Michael had scammed them have no single dime in the Platform. Micheal Opara the Lawyer of the defendant knows the truth but remain adamant to it. Jesam never withhold withdrawal rather Abayomi who stole from the platform caused the hinge we investors are experiencing from day one. Abayomi put us all into pains not Jesam. If Abayomi return the stolen funds I trust Jesam will bounce back. Abayomi refund our money! Abayomi refund our Money!!

  71. Kenneth says:

It is disheartening that Barrister Maxwell Okpara who is meant to be a custodian of the law failed to do carry out investigation before publicly tagging AAS (Afriq Arbitrage System) a scam. It might the NBA that AAS is a legitimate trading platform that went through the required registration process and was duely certified by the necessary regulatory bodies in Nigeria, EFCC and SEC inclusive. The platform was paying her investors daily ROI(Return On Investment) before Abayomi, a tech person the CEO Jesam Michael entrusted the access code to the system when he went for Liver transplant logged into the system and heartlessly made away with $87 . Million. As a result of this, the platform could no longer do the daily payout, rather a weekly ROI is what investors are receiving at the moment because the CEO started build the platform all over again. Abayomi was tracked and apprehended. He confessed to his crime but is yet to return investors fund. The case is still in court and Abayomi is presently remanded at Suleja prison. The guys Barrister Maxwell paraded as victims that have been defrauded by AAS do not even account in the trading platform. They have indulged in cyber bullying and threatening to bring down the CEO, his family and the AAS trading platform and your learned colleague is defending them thereby perverting justice against thousands of investors across the globe. Their case is ongoing and that are in currently at Kuje prison until the next hearing. Be that as it may, AAS is still trading till date and pays her investors ROI on a weekly basis. As an investor, let me categorically affirm that AAS CEO, Jesam Michael is not a scammer and it is certain that AAS will return to the initial daily ROI payout in no time. Jesam is the pride of Africa, especially Nigeria for being the first black to build a legitimate platform that investors from over 540 countries, provinces, states keyed into.
    Long live Jesam Michael!
    Long live AAS!
    Long live AAS Investors!

  72. John Anaga says:

Only a criminal can support a criminal. You’re spreading lies to defend a criminal.

Fake Lawyer is expecting 7% from a stollen money to defend a criminal. 1 cent out of $87million stolen by Abayomi will not be left behind. The totality of that money must be paid back to AAS platform

  73. Godspower says:

I am an investor. It has not been easy after abayomi happened. AAS is legit, Jesam Micheal is not a scammer. Abayomi who was employed by AAS emptied our liquidity pool to a tone of 87 million dollars when Jesam went for liver transplant. All this write up has evidences. Lawyer Opara a member of NBA bwari Abuja. Hope you are ready with evidences to back your claims about AAS.

  74. Akinola says:

@NBA should maintain the respect the ordinary citizens are giving them, they should be able to call their members to order that they should investigate the matter well and tell their clients the truth, they should not let the money they want to collect from their clients cover the truth they already know, AAS Is a LEGIT trading platform, I invested with the little I have then and build my capital, still pay some bills all from my daily ROI, all is going fine, the CEO jeSam Michael always pleading to us to withdraw our ROI,….OH what a sweet experience then, all is going well before the unfortunate being ABAYOMI took the advantage of his Boss illness to stole $87m, this guy spoil the joy of AAS investor Globally, this case is already in court and the ABAYOMI have confessed to his crime, and this (7% Barrister Maxwell Okpara) who suppose investigate the matter that concern Global investors not only Nigeria now come to press to vomit stupid and rubbish talk because of the 7% Roi from the same AAS they are against, The investors on ground that have money in the platform can not allow Maxwell Okpara to tarnish the images of AAS because of his 7% ROI, @NBA should tell Barrister (7%ROI) that his work there is to defend his clients before the judge not to come to press and say what he don’t know…..Nigeria citizens and Global investors are watching…..@NBA

  75. Unique says:

Investigate a case before you publish it, this very matter is still in court, abayomi has confessed to stealing AAST money of over $87m, do your thorough check before posting don’t come and be showing stupidity everywhere. Jesam Michael is a legit man. And I’m happy investing in AAS/AAST

  76. Justina says:

Violence and justice cannot work together. There should be decorum and restraint from a lawyer , who as is expected of him not descend into the arena of conflict. Investigations and proper watching of the video clip should be done. The lawyer, Maxwell Opara went off the radar, forgetting the tenets of the noble profession, physically using his fists for justice even while robbed in a court premises? Be should have allowed the interview for the opponent to be through before interjecting! This led to the altercation from grieved investors in legit AAS Afriq Arbitrage System already fighting for their whooping $87m stolen by the lawyer’s client Abayomi Oluwasesan now in prison with trial ongoing who has confessed to the crime. Let’s be guided and caution Maxwell Opara.

  77. John Paul says:

This Case is in Court and the Criminal Abayomi has confessed that He stole money. Why Won’t Maxwell Opara allow us breath? We the real investigators are waiting for Abayomi to refund the money he stole. Those claiming Jesam Scammed them are fake guys claiming to be investors, they have promised to bring Jesam Michael down and even threatened his life. Maxwell Opara allow us to breathe. Tell Abayomi to return our money he stole.

  78. Aola says:

Barrister okpara was dabbling into a matter already in Court. Jesam is Real . AAS is Real. Im an Investor, infact iv withdrawn so many times and Iv withdrawn more than my Capital. Everything was going smoothly b4 Abayomi struc!! He stole $87Million frm the Company which made withdraw weekly now not monthly and CEO jesam is working hard to bring the Daily withdrawal back to normal.

  79. Obinna says:

I’m an Investor in AAS (Afriq Arbitrage System).
All the propaganda against Chief Jesam Michael (CEO-AAS) and AAS are lies. AAS is a legitimate platform duly registered, incorporated in Nigeria, and has it’s authentic certificate of incorporation.
The CEO (Jesam Michael), never stopped withdrawal with the intention to scam nor defraud investors. The enemy within (Abayomi) messed up the system, stealing a whooping sum of $87m from the system liquidity pool, when the CEO entrusted him with the access code before going for liver surgery.
Abayomi, was eventually apprehended, investigated and he confessed to his crime. All evidences to his crime and confession are there in the Federal high court, Abuja. This alone actually affected the smooth operations if the system and withdrawals. The CEO had to start rebuilding back with his funds to prevent the cessation of AAS and investors funds. Since, the system bounced back in August, 2023 with a temporary ROI of 0.35% weekly, all investors have been receiving their ROI successfully. But withdrawal hasn’t been inconsistent due to the fact that the liquidity pool hasn’t been filled to ease seamless withdrawal.
Chief Jesam Michael (CEO), is a man of integrity and a lover of humanity. He has ensured us (investors) that soon we will bounce back to our normal daily ROI of 1.65%, and seamless withdrawals once the new features in the payment gateway is fully integrated and tested.
I’m pained seeing the Lawyer (Mr. Maxwell) on a social media video, parading scammers (who has no account with AAS after confessing to the police) as victims of AAS scam, when the case and evidences are there in court. As a lawyer, you should have done your due diligence with your clients, instead you went on parading and sharing false impression and lies to the public. It’s a big shame to you and a slap to the Law profession.
We, the investors are not happy at all with Abayomi for what he has done and he must return all funds stolen.
Also, the perpetrators defaming the company’s name (AAS) and it’s CEO (Jesam Michael), the damages caused are far irreparable.

Therefore, I stand by the truth and pray for justice to prevail.

    Thank you.

    AAS to the Moon!

  82. Michael says:

AAS token is not fake AAS token is real. Abayomi stole our $87000000 from the platform

  83. Godspower says:

Lawyer opara, hope you are aware that Abayomi who stole 87million dollars from AAS has confessed to his crimes, and the case is in court. Hope you have verified your claims very well before calling AAS names. Go and gather your evidences to back up your claims or else AAS has evidences that you need to answer to.

  84. HAKEEM OPEYEMI says:

The lawyer started the so called violence. Watch the video again and also read his body language

  85. The act of the lawyer saying lies to the company AAS wish the investors can not stand it.
You can not been saying trash to a company over 547 country in the world and believed part of the investors would let you go.
Moreover this thefts case already in court, why mention a theft case in cyber bulling, the lawyer was paid to create sign in court premises.
I’m one of the investors in AAS and this company is 100%legit , if not the staff Abayomi saga that brought the company back to this mess.
But still yet after the 87$milloin stole the CEO Jesam Michael still build the platform back and pay all investors weekly ROI of your capital and also build a native tokens project that already in top Six exchange in global market.

  86. While it’s unethical and illegal for a lawyer to knowingly tell a lie or fabricate false information against an organization.

  87. Kanu shedrach says:

It is good to note that AAS IS not Ponzi platform rather a well established company with physical stores within Nigeria.
It was doing well not until an employee entrusted with password to the liquidity pool due to Jesam’s ill health messed up the system by withdrawaing the investors fund in the person of Abayomi who is currently in jail awaiting trial

Bar Opara was paid by Abayomi and co, and promised 7% of any recovered fund , there by working against humanity for selfish interest and was not in any way dehumanized, tortured or denied any right within the legal framework

  88. Victor EBUNOLUWA BALOGUN BALOGUN says:

NBA BUARI branch should as a matter of fact look into the attitude of the lawyer cos he acted like a tout…JESAM MICHAEL is still with the press before he bump in…who does that. In the hall were hundreds of investors who are aggrieved cos the lawyer is defending criminals Ponzi masters that he called victim…they are the defendants na d they are not investors, if you doubt ask for their account. It’s really a pity that we now have rascals as lawyers. AAS is a legit platform that a staff of the company tampers with the platform of which the CEO arrested him and he confessed to his crime and has started returning some part of the proceed stolen before those guys the lawyer is parading started cyber bullying the CEO and staff and they were arrested and taken to court. The CEO is open to invitation to discuss the issues. No investor will stand by and allow miscreants to destroy the company he invested his hard earned money. Thank you.

  89. Nicholas says:

You really need to go and investigate before writing. A lawyer who claims to know his onus was commenting and passing judgement on a case that is still in court. Mr Opara broke the law by doing that and should be sued for that. As a prossional lawyer, he should know that you don’t do that on a case that is currently in court.
I am an investor and I know what I am talking about. Mr Opara levelled a case of theft against our company AAS when he should have done his assignment properly to find out the latest on the case. Not only that, he could not even wait for the ceo of AAS to finish addressing the press men before jumping into the scene to take over. A good lawyer should do due diligence before taking up a case and stop being led by his own personal gain

  90. Oluchi says:

Thank you for this. AAS is truly a Ponzi scheme, it scammed us…. and the CEO is busy using the police to intimidate investors who ask for their capital

  91. Roni says:

What tge barrister did was a non starter. He ought to exhibited high level of emotional intelligence. Service with integrity.

  92. Jay jay says:

The jesam michael is a thief and a scammer. Using his telegram paid community members to counter publications about his fraudulent activities. He seems to have some connections in the police force and using them to arrest investors that challenge him for their money back. Nigeria should do something fast before this man further destroy the face the country is trying hard to repair.

  93. THEOPHILUS says:

For God’s sake, stop all these fuse about AAS, a legitimate and registered platform based in Nigeria with almost a million investors from all over the world.

Mr. Maxwell Opara was completely wrong to have baselessly accused AAS and it’s CEO of scam in a case that is before a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

Abayomi Oluwasesan who stole $87million from AAS coffers has long confessed to his crimes and is currently being tried in a Federal High Court for it.

So, for Mr. Maxwell Opara to have said anything on the contrary, calls for suspicion, and we demand that he (Mr. Maxwell Opara) be immediately investigated to know the reason for his perceived support of crime against AAS investors.

We would also like the general public to know that Mr. Maxwell Opara is not in any way representing the interest of the generality of AAS investors.

Therefore, we call on the NBA to caution, as well as advice him to desist from supporting a man, and his affiliates who have brought untold hardship to the thousands of investors all over the world.

  94. PEACE ANI says:

THE CASE IS IN COURT AND THE SUSPECT HAS CONFESSED TO HIS CRIMES

  95. Chommy says:

This is not true, our CEO is not a scammer and withdrawal is not being disabled, the system is paying weekly, what do you expect when enemy within diverts $87million dollars for his own use from the system?since there’s no much fund in liquidity pool, how can it function well to pay normal? Abayomi messed our system up,pls abayomi Give us our money let’s return to bizness. No one attacked Mr okpara, and we are peace makers that’s why we came to court to seek justice, pls we all need justice thanx.

  96. Leonard Odinigwe says:

The deceitful lawyer got what he deserves he is defending a crime who has already confessed his crimes and being remained and under going prosecution for his fraudulent theft against AAS of which the CEO is Jesam Michael… I am an investor and my acct is running smoothly trading and paying profit of 0.35% weekly…. AAS is legitimate and genuine platform with her AAS Token trading in the global market… It also has physical office and plaza where you can buy items with the Token… Pls do verify before publication, the case of the fraud commented against AAS by One Mr Abayomi is in court and is being remained in Kujie prison…. Jesam Michael didn’t scam investors .. pls go and make your findings before the Company will sue you for deformation of character to the company’s image..

  97. Madubuike says:

This lawyer Okpara is a wicked liar and who because of 7% his criminal clients promised to pay him, is then supporting injustice against AAS and it’s global investors: Is that what you’re trained to do as a lawyer or group of lawyers is to keep supporting injustice in Nigeria? People like you are poison to the society, you always fail to do deep underground research before concluding; what a shame to the body of the Law you are.

Here is the video of Abayomi the criminal that stole $87M from AAS and his gangs the fake lawyer Okpara is defending

You’re a fool lawblog. You don’t know what to write but cook up a fake story about a company? You don’t deserve any remorse than to die by car accident or die by hanging… How can a genuine company make people poorer when poverty is already deeming in the country which government seem to ignore, so someone that bring a solution to these is a ponzi master? Just say it once you’re paid to do all this cos you cannot be doing all these by yourself without having the backup of huge money or something… You will die by hanging by the name of the gods

  100. Alumona Stanley says:

JESAM MICHEAL should stop playing games and refund the capital of the Investors who want their money back

  101. Joseph Okon says:

I saw a live video of Jesam Michael on Facebook talking about Afriq Arbitrage System in 2022, how he is bringing new innovations and he gave an advice that we should not lose our money to scammers, he said a platform is paying today does not mean it pay tomorrow that he is building a Decentralized platform, that it is so Decentralized that no human can control it, and that he is on ethical oat to end poverty and to serve humanity and that we should join him to build wealth for our future and I joined his Telegram group to know more

As days and weeks pass by, he assured us at first that our capital invested can be withdrawn at anytime we want to and that he will be paying 3% -5% daily ROI on our investment as he Jesam Michael told us he is trading CRYPTO ARBITRAGE USING BOT to buy and sell and at the time myself and spouse had no job and we are still looking for job up till now and then we gather all we had and still borrowed to invest in AAS

We discovered we couldn’t withdrawn our CAPITAL after we invested and investors started asking him questions, then he told us he had to lock our CAPITAL in Binance liquidity pool so that no one, not even him the CEO will never have access to the Funds as he had locked it under Binance liquidity pool that he has thrown all the keys to the file they used in building the platform to the ocean for the security of our funds

As day goes by and we are about to start the platform, after we have already deposited our money, he reduced the initial Roi he promised from 3% daily ROI to 1.65% daily ROI and came up with different stories to back the reduction in ROI up

In less than 3 months of starting the platform with so many days of not dropping ROI as promised, the CEO Jesam Michael will come up with lots of excuses. The last excuse is that there is a bypass bot that passed through the platform blockchain and he wants to upgrade his BOT. Since then it has been from one story to the other for over 12 months now, have not been able to withdraw either my CAPITAL or ROI( Return on investment) as he promised both in his video as evidence and in his website, at a point, as we were still unable to withdraw either our CAPITAL or ROI, he cleared my ROI on my dashboard to zero.

This has really caused me alot

I have 3 kids age 5, 7 and 10 years, they have stopped schooling all because of Jesam Michael holding on to my CAPITAL of over $4,000 since over 12 month now, money I would have used in doing other businesses to survive with my family

    2.
we cannot pay our house rent since last year. A whole lots of time our Landlord locked us and our children out in the cold for our inability to pay

    3.
To eat is another challenge, my kids now look kwashiorkor and veins showing all over their body because all we eat is garri everyday without other nutrients, even the garri I begged different people at different places for it after we had already owe lots of people in the street I live and they stopped selling food to us on credit.

    4.
Those I borrowed money from to add to my CAPITAL to invest in AAS are after my life

With all of these Jesam Michael who has no landed property anywhere, he did not have a single house, before he started the platform he called AAS is now busy acquiring properties in different states and countries and living luxury life with my hard earned money and my family, my children are suffering and out of school.

I don’t sleep everyday, have contemplate committing suicide severally but when I looked at the children God gave me, I hold to hope for their sake

  102. Ekong Olu says:

I’m Ekong Oluwayemisi a private school teacher with four kids. My husband has lost his job some years back and we’ve been struggling to survive. AAS was introduced by a friend who thought it would bring relief to my struggles but it brought *pain and regret* . My first deposit was the money my elder sis gave to my family as support for feeding but I thought rather than eating and begging again I should invest it to be improve our lives. That was *2nd January 2023*.
The CEO, JESAM MICHAEL kept on encouraging us to borrow or sell properties to invest.
I kept on topping up my account with part of my salary and some funds I borrowed from friends and online loan apps with the promise to pay back. I pushed in all these funds amounting to $265.

Then I convinced someone to loan a $100 which was a failed deposit.

According to AAS ADMINS, any failed deposit during the time the claimed the system was under attack is a by gone. That was when I began to feel uncomfortable. This period, things had started getting worse for the family. We couldn’t pay the rent, so we we’re ejected forcefully. (We moved to my sister’s house). The kids were kicked out of school because of school fees.

I had hope of the system bouncing back as promised. He asked for patience for *30days,90days, then “relax, very soon* ”

One year is gone without the original ROI and even the 0.35% given weekly presently cannot be withdrawn

Medical bills, school fees, house rent were needed so I wrote to AAS SUPPORT, to close my account. I am still yet to get a reply. When I voiced out my displeasure on the Telegram group I was banned from the Telegram group.
All I want is my capital to help me settle these debts

  103. Bassey John says:

▪️I was introduced to (AAS) Afrik Arbitrage System by a friend who happens to be one of AAS admin in one of it’s WhatsApp group. He told me the company is legit.▪️ The company AAS through it’s CEO Mr Jesam Michael promised investors return on investment (ROI) of 1.65% daily & how the company has come to change the narratives & liberate the poor ▪️The initial capital i investment in Jan was borrowed from a friend, while the second investment in July same year 2023 was also borrowed from my brother in-law.▪️Am yet to withdraw a single cent from the platform since trading began in Jan 2023 till date due to failed promises by the CEO, my hopes of transforming my life & that of my family has been dashed so far. ▪️After mine & other investors ROI was wiped off by the CEO claiming that a staff stole 87M USD from the platform the CEO promised investors that the company will come back bigger and stronger with least ROI of 2% daily only to reduce it to 0.35 weekly which he claims is for a week then upward progression of 0.55, 1% & finally back to 1.65%, till date nothing has changed. ▪️My friend & brother in-law are demanding for refund of the loan I took from them. Am a pensioner I simply don’t know where to turn to which is why I want my capital invested back & compensation for the pains the company has caused me & my family. ▪️I invested a total of $933.▪️My name is Anthony Egbuchue

  104. Shesaye Ayenajeyi says:

Hmmm… a report by Technext made you concluded that what the news group said is true? As NBA Bwari Branch you ought to carry your investigation on what exactly Mr. Maxwell Opara is represents and the damage he is causing to the noble legal profession.

You guys should call Mr. Maxwell Opara to order and as lawyers you guys a Ministers in the Temple of Justice that has rules guiding it.
Stop the Media trial as far as AAS and Jesam Michael is concern, the investors are with the company because they are not scam, nor a Ponzi scheme.

  105. Charles Oti says:

My name is Charles Oji Oti, I joined jesam’s telegram room in May 2022 and made my first investment of $500 as a beta tester in August of the same year. Initially before I deposited the $500, we were assured that trading would start in about one week time. However that fund was tied up in his platform till on the 26th December 2022 when trading started.

at the beginning, jesam made a lot of promises to convince investors and made them to go out of their ways to raise funds that they invested. some of the promises are as follows:

That investors can withdraw both profit and capital at any time if they so wish.

after a while, he announced that for safety reasons, all investors capital are locked in Binance liquidity pool. He said this was in the best interest of investors, as no hacker can hack Binance to steal funds because binance has the best security against cyber attacks in the world. He further assured that not even himself can withdraw money from this locked pool, except he first applied to Binance and get their approval. According to him, safety of funds was the sole reason for locking of our funds.

He further said that in the event that an investor wanted to quit trading with AAS, that such an investor could apply for their capital refund, and he the CEO would in turn apply to Binance for approval and within three days the investors capital would be refunded 100% and their account deleted.

All these promises made me to trust AAS 100% without fear of losing my investment because of hackers. I further raised additional $800 and opened my second account. And in late February I sold my ML350 2009 model for about 4m naira and topped up my second account. Between february and April 10th I kept topping up my account and also reinvesting all my roi to build up my capital. I also opened a third account of $368 for my wife. And by 10th when he suddenly shut down the platform, I had made a total deposit of over fourteen thousand dollars.

Everyone was caught unawares on the 10th or 11th of April when he suddenly stopped withdrawals. He then called for an emergency meeting where he addressed investors and claimed that hackers used bypass bots to hack the system, but that the good news was that all investors capital was safe and no money was stolen. He then asked for 30 days to rebuild the part of the system where the hackers tampered with.

I was left without any funds at all because I didn’t expect such a thing to happen and because I reinvested everyday I received the ROI, and I had no money put aside anywhere. I also had no other business I was doing at the time to raise money – all the funds I was using for my offline businesses were all deposited into AAS. But I managed to tide over the 30 days in the hopes that everything would become normal again

After 30 days, the CEO requested for more 30 days, claiming he needed more time as the task of rebuilding was enormous. However after the second 30 days, he came up with the story of one Abayomi that stole the company’s funds after he entrusted the platforms pass code or something to him and that enabled him have access to the companys funds. He further claimed that he had to hand over to him because he went for a liver transplant and so couldn’t run the company from his hospital bed. He however assured his bewildered investors that our capital was safe as Abayomi stole only the profits.

the stories kept changing and the wait became so long and later he started sending updates on Abayomis arrest and such. We are still being fed with these stories up till now

Later in September / October he announced that trading had restarted and that he was now
trading with 5 bots to enable him build back the stolen money quick and resume payment of the normal 1.65% ROI. Some investors started depositing again, and later he announced that what the company could afford to pay was only 0.35% weekly. However till date this little weekly ROI is not withdrawable. And this is a clear departure from the original contract we had with AAS. Once in a while, only a few people in his telegram room could withdraw the weekly ROI, but the vast majority of us cannot.

my experience so far is too painful and hard for words. I was thrown into serious financial mess. I couldn’t feed I couldn’t pay my rent. I had to borrow from a loan company ,fair money, and borrowed further from friends to pay my rent of #600k. My offline business of importation collapsed. I have been reduced to a beggar. My wife is almost running mad because of this terrible experience.

to add insult to injury, no one could ask any questions on jesam’s telegram room. If you dare ask about your investment in AAS or withdrawals, you would be kicked out from the telegram room immediately. Jesam would also insult the hell out of you before doing so. He would always claim he was building “Tech” and that tech takes time.

jesam has also been showing off his affluence, exotic cars and houses on social media, his facebook. This show off started after this Abayomi saga. He opened several businesses, lounge, apple stores etc, without consulting with his investors first. He’s self opinionated and hardly listens to the cries and pleas of his investors. He has been completely insensitive to the hardships and sufferings he inflicted on his investors.

recently I also found out that he has edited the Terms and Conditions on AAS website regarding refund policy, meaning that he has no intention of refunding those that no longer wish to continue with his business.

please sir the court is our last hope, help us to recover our funds from this oppressor. I’m dying. Thank you

  106. Hamza says:

Jesam Micheal has hold on to our investment for over a year now, no return on investment and he has denied us a refund of our capital. He lured us to invest and made us poorer than he met us. Government shoukd please intervene and get us our money back

  107. Peace Emeka says:

I am an investor in de AAS arbitrage platform, our money has been locked up for over 1 year now, all we”re requesting from de CEO JESAM MICHAEL is to refund us our money back as we are no longer interested in de platform, Instead refunding us our money he”s changing de whole narrative to Abayomi theft of 87 million dollars , Please refund us our money back so that u can concentrate on ur matters.

  108. Godsent Solomon says:

That lawyer is a professional liar and shameless because of stomach is infrastructure. The very day he accepted to stand for criminals like those guys who backed Abayomi to steal a whooping 87million dollars of investors funds in the arbitrage company, my respect for him died a natural death.
The Abayomi they’re fighting for has already confessed to his crimes and he’s in prison custody as I write; all the evidences are there in court, so why are they turning the story upside down?
ABAYOMI MUST RRTURN INVESTORS MONEY of over 500 countries, states and provinces, PIRIOED!

  109. Mattzis says:

NBA Bwari Branch may be right in condemning the sole called assault on one of their members. However, they should know that it is not easy to watch someone who stole your goods turning around to call you whose goods has been stolen a thief. The guy acted in anger because the Lawyer knows the truth but instead decided to embark on cheap publicity through the media.

How can a lawyer call a press conference for the sole purpose of misinforming the public. The real thief who stole funds from AAS platform is in custody and the case is in court already. The Lawyers client that was arrested confessed to the Police that he committed the crime and agreed to return the stolen funds and the properties he acquired through the ill gotten wealth. This arrangement was arrived at through the first Lawyer hired by the accused.

Why AAS waited for her stolen properties to be returned, the accused reneged from fulfilling his promise probably after being cornered by the hawks who wants to use the case to enrich themselves since they have come to know that the amount involved is huge, a whooping $87m.

This is investors funds which all investors of AAS have waited patiently to be refunded to them by Abayomi, the accused since April, 2023.

But come to think of it, why is the Lawyer parading a few individuals as victims of the fraud which they attributed to the innocent CEO of AAS in the presence of the real victims whose funds were actually stolen? What investigation did the Lawyer do to conclude on who was or were the real victims? Is that not a case of aiding and abetting on the part of the Lawyer? Did he not actually invite anarchy through his provocative actions.

A case is in court, let us assume that the Lawyer considers his client to be innocent, l am not a Lawyer; but was it right for the Lawyer to consider the plaintiff as the thief in the very presence of even a larger group who are equally laying claim of being victims of the crime committed by the Lawyers client?

If the Lawyer is not up to some mischief, why is he using the press to create a scene in such an overheated environment, knowing very well that his client is the accused?

I think the Bwari NBA should rather call their member to order. The Lawyer’s action shows that he was trying to use the press to score some cheap points for the sake of gathering some desperate and unmerited evidence for his case.

The real victims couldn’t bear that, hence the result of the action in question. Many are suffering today, others have even passed on as a result of the crime committed by Abayomi, the Lawyer’s client. Please, call your member to order instead of calling for the prosecution to angry investors who have the hard earned money. They are crying, don’t stop them; allow them to cry.

AAS is a credible project led by a credible CEO, Jesam Michael. I believe if the legal system checks out all available evidences, the truth of the credibility of AAS and the real criminals in this matter will be unearthed in no time. Thousands of investors have created videos that are all over the social media attesting to AAS and Jesam Michael as credible. All we need is justice for AAS with recovery of our stolen funds to the tune of $87 so our platform can return to its glory days.

  112. Ayo says:

Afriq arbitrage system (AAS) led by the CEO called Jesam ubi Micheal, has deceived us into depositing money to his system by promising us 1.65%/day. We believed in his system because he showcased his entire family and himself and promised us that all our fund are in binance liquidity pool that no human not even him can access the fund. He also told us that anytime we want to pull out of the system, that we are free to do so by applying for our refund of capital. But lo and behold, he started giving us stories over a year now and we are no longer interested in his platform again. We demanded for our money, instead of refunding us he started fighting us and bullying us, arresting our leaders up and down. He has proven himself not trustworthy, therefore, we need our capital back.

We really need our capital back

  118. Evinemi says:

@Simon Ekpa, as a learned Man, you ought to do your findings before captioning or posting any video in the public space. You didn’t know how this story started, those guys that Maxwell Opara mentioned as the victim of Cyber crime are pure fallacy. Simon Ekpa you got your message wrong.

  119. Evinemi says:

With clip I saw online yesterday on the confrontation between Maxwell and the AAS Investors was actually a shameful thing to talk about. Imagine a so called learned person (lawyer Maxwell) initiating a push against those who caution him by words of mouth from spreading falsehood. Maxwell okpara has disgracefully acted against a noble profession he practice it doesn’t matter how much he was offered to spread falsehood.

  120. Anthony says:

  123. Simon Atabhujie says:

That so called charge and bail lawyer is saying rubbish. Aboyomi confess to his crime he actually stole money from the company’s account. As a lawyer do your findings b4 saying rubbish publicly

  124. Sheriff Umar says:

The Supposed learn man, invited the francas on himself, it’s absurd to look at the company owners & investors and lied to their faces and expect them not to react. The case he is referring to is under jurisdiction as such he has no right to comment in a first place. Lies, fallacy, cyber bullying ETC is the case at hand why comment on issue you have zero knowledge about. Jesam Micheal didn’t dupe anybody, a staff of the company called Abayomi stoled the money & confessed to his crime… Nobody has the Monopoly of doing anyhow…

  125. Christian Cornejo says:

Lawyer defending Abayomi is telling lies and is getting paid to tell lies about AAS the truth is CEO created with his DEV team and legit platform a company with all the paperwork to back it up and when CEO was restock he gave the company to Abayomi trusting him with the private information but Abayomi only thought of himself being selfish not caring about investors funds change the information to his own private information and stole 87 million dollars but CEO is a fighter at heart and arrested Abayomi in court in a document Abayomi confessed that he stole the funds

  126. Ikenna Onyedinma says:

How can we allow and condone this manner of blatant lying without flinching. Abayomi already confessed that he stole money to the tune of $87m from AAS purse and here is someone who is supposed to uphold the laws of the land after having bargained for 7% commission of the funds, here he is pedaling falsehood to deceive the general public. This okpara of a lawyer should be tried and sentenced too for propagating falsehood

  127. Iyalla Daniel says:

It’s not true, the lawyer is trying to misinform the public, I’m an investor of AAS, our money was stolen by abayomi, a former employee of AAS, and the matter is still in court

  128. Boama says:

The lawyer is a bloody liar. The suspect has already confessed that he stole fro the company and the matter is in court. You think by ranting and lying will influence the courts decision

Who in his address, Verbally called a duely registered global company (AAS) that her footing is domicile in nigeria, which in his words saying AAS is “a fraudulent platform”.

This accusations of his are all falsified and Mr. Maxwell is just working to the tune of his cheap bargain agreement of 7% of the acclaimed victim who happen to be the enemy of Afriq arbitrage system (AAS).

Afriq arbitrage system is a well registered company and its paying her investors till date which I’m also privileged to be one of her investors.

Despite the inflicted huddles on the system engineered by ABAYOMI, he loathed the investors money by breaking the trust of the CEO Jesam Michael and the investors of (AAS), whose case is currently in the reputable court of law.
Where the criminal Abayomi has confessed to his crime and the law found him wanting and guilty and also waiting for the law to decide his fate.

It was due to the health challenge of CEO of afriq arbitrage system who at that time needed to go seek for medical help and was left with no option than to handover the company to the criminal Abayomi to steer in his absence as a steward over the system until his return.

Never known to him that the depravity of human nature is guile in deceptive outlook,
Swindle the system of all investors money of 547 countries, States and Provinces with the sum of $87M.

Please let Mr. Maxwell Okpara be investigated and perhaps sanction by the body,
for his display in the public is a total disgrace and also an embarrassment to the law practitioners

Abayomi stole from the company Afriq Arbitrage system (AAS) and it has put so many investors into a serious dire situation.

#Justice for the true investors in AAS

  132. Rachel says:

Lawyer Maxwell Okpara hasn’t carried out any investigation but he was defending criminals. The case is in court already and the culprit Abayomi Olusesan Olusegun has confessed to this crime of stealing $87million from AAS Liquidity Pool while Jesam Michael went for treatment. Lawyer Maxwell Okpara, you have a case to answer for dishing out wrong information to the public and misleading the populace. Go and do your findings, you’re in support of fraudulent foes- Michael Okoh, Humble, OMA and the likes. Hope you’ll soon realize your mistake and then join them in prison. AAS is a legit platform, Jesam Michael is being blackmail on social media for the offence he didn’t commit. JM is an Innocent, Honest and Transparent person. We demand justice for AAS, Jesam Michael, All Investors Worldwide, let Abayomi release our money, it’s not a national cake.

  133. Eda says:

Jesam Michael (JM) the CEO of afriq arbitrage system (AAS) is very real and legit likewise the platform. AAS is a blockchain based platform, it pays her investors 1.65% as a daily return on investment (ROI) for 20 days and then goes on a rotational ROI of 2 to 5% for 10 days and there was a seamless and milliseconds withdrawal of ROI from the platform. To withdraw in AAS was faster than to deposit. JM do beg the investors to withdraw their ROI as constant activities of withdrawal on the blockchain will do AAS good. Every investor around over 500 province, States and countries of the world was happy.
AAS challenges which has lasted over a year now started when the CEO JM traveled abroad for a liver transplant leaving some privileged information to an insider, his employer (website designer) Mr Abayomi O. for the smooth running of the platform on his behalf,Abayomi abused the trust and stole invest fund to a whopping sum of $87m with the intention that the CEO won’t come to Nigeria alive.
The CEO survived, got Abayomi arrested through security operatives home and abroad and Abayomi confessed to his crime and he’s currently remanded in suleja prison and much evidences abound even with all the evidences some individuals who are not even investors in AAS took to social media to cyber bullying, cyber stalking and defamation of his character and even threatening the life and family of JM saying JM is a scammer. JM is transparent, genuine and legit. He shares all information with the investors on his telegram channel. He shares his picture and that of his family including his family, state and village (ugep) in cross river state Nigeria and I perfectly know no scammer ever showed his or face to the people he wants to scam not to talk of his sensitive information and location.
Those calling JM and AAS scam are not investors and those arrested attest to it (the called themselves freedom fighters and ask for who exactly) because I know 99.9999% of the investors are solidly with JM and trust him to deliver but all we seek is JUSTICE , let Abayomi bring back our money ($87m) so we can pay off our debt which is accumulating with interest everyday. Abayomi with his greed has wrecked many homes, send some to early grave, prison , shattered dreams and relationship broken.
JM is real and legit, I stand with him. I have made withdrawals in AAS platform before the dooms day caused by Abayomi the greedy guy!!

  134. Gerald says:

Greetings to all our judiciary in Nigeria who stood for justice against this evil act of Abayomi who stole our $87M from the liquidity pool that our CEO JESAM MACHEAL hand over as a senior stuff who his job is to control the platform, cause before our CEO JESAM MACHEAL hand over this company to him. The CEO itself was the one asking us to withdraw our money it was his daily topic withdraw your money is your money and every part and parcel of this AAS investors was smoothly withdrawing without obstacles until our CEO JESAM MACHEAL left the country for his health cause his health is most important to us cause without JESAM no AAS.. as you can see the trust he gave to Abayomi have kept us where we are right now… So in summary please and please I’m begging all the sectors that is in-charge of criminal act and cyber bullying in this country should advise barrister Maxwell Okpara to do his due diligence as a professional Lawyer what is ready to fight for corruption not just to fight for his selfish interest cause of the little percent they promised him, then he will look at the face of thousands of investors around the globe and talk like a basic one student. Please barrister Maxwell let me tell you this as a brother Good Lawyer with a bad case always looks stupid before the court. How can some like you that I have my respect for stand before the whole world misleading the public why.. please we know who is responsible for our money and he have made a confessional statement before the competent court of jurisdiction so good. Please we didn’t ask much let barrister Maxwell stay clear from this case we are not happy Abayomi came on our social media platforms and begged us forgiveness why, barrister Maxwell coming on air to challenge a conclusive case.. please our judiciary let justice take it course thanks and God bless

  135. Magezi says:

The above story is false. The people that the lawyer claim to be victims are the
group of people that were threatening our CEO, Jesam Michael.

The true story is as below:

Our CEO is not a scammer and withdrawal is not being disabled, the system is paying weekly, what do you expect when enemy within diverts $87million dollars for his own use from the system?since there’s no much fund in liquidity pool, how can it function well to pay normal? Abayomi messed our system up,pls abayomi Give us our money let’s return to bizness. No one attacked Mr okpara, and we are peace makers that’s why we came to court to seek justice, pls we all need justice thanks.

    I am AAS investor

While this statement is correct but after watching the scene, I wonder why a Lawyer will try to instigate a fight by giving false information and bringing shame on his Profession to tag it “A Profession of Liars!”
If professions and practicing professionals behave and react as such, then it’s a shame on the Profession!

You could watch this your so called client Michael Okoh and tell me what you stand to defend, liars or truth?

  138. Simple says:

Firstly, the MBA should suspend the Lawyer for false information and defamation of a Legit company AAS cos am an investor and I know every truth behind these cases! The case he lied about is already in court and the suspecr has confessed stealing of $87m from the coy and this isn’t the case he is handling. His case being of those that he falsely called investor which they are not are case of cyber bulling/cyber stalking/treat to life/defamation etc charges which the lawyer left and took on false acussation towards one of the legit investment coy in Africa and the world at large. This kind of lawyer are the reason why justices are stepped on cos of misinformations n chase away foriegn investor.
Note! Lawyer Opara didn’t de escate but he escalated the situation to make up his failure defending criminals in the court room.

  139. Nnamdi N says:

AAS was messed up by ABAYOMI who has already confessed to stealing AAS investors’ money while Jesam was hospitalised. The investors are really angry here because we are suffering the misdid of ABAYOMI. Let truth prevail and not falsehood. The case is in court against ABAYOMI.

  140. Emmanuel Ntekim says:

Whipping up sentiments, in my opinion. Focus on the main issues. Don’t forget to inform the people that Abayomi’s case is in court, which I expect he should be aware of, as a lawyer; his clients put up so many maligning videos, and texts in their socials claiming it’s staged, prank, etc and that for arresting Abayomi, they’ll bring Jesam and AAS, the IG of Police, etc, down. Next thing, gunmen attacked AAS apple store in Ikeja, shooting and looking for Jesam Michael… Maybe he should focus on facts, and evidence, of these things, and stop whipping up sentiments. AAS is Blockchain based, there’s ample evidence of trading activities;Mr lawyer, your clients had questions they asked for proof, don’t try to distract the focus. Thank you.

  141. Emmanuel Ntekim says:

I expect better from our men of the wig. Mr lawyer, the case is in court and Abayomi has confessed to his crimes, shouldn’t the court be allowed to give the final verdict? Your clients have spent the better part of one year, calling Jesam Michael all manner of unprintable names on social media, even going as far as threatening his life and his family; and they’re not even investors! I thought an ongoing case is supposed to be allowed to come to it’s logical conclusion before it’s talked about?!

  142. Joseph says:

AAS is a big headache for yahoo Yahoo and ponci for the first time in history a black man from Nigeria want to make history in crpto currency international but some bad heads from Nigeria want to disrupt good thing never and some bad lawyer bcoz of what they will eat defending abayomi that already confess to his crime of stealing$87,000,000 from AAS account based on trust CEO have on the bastard abayomi.no amount of distraction abayomi must return our AAS money back$87 million

  143. Mobolaji says:

It is good to investigate a case before passing nonsense information to the society. Lawyer Maxwell is a very useless man. How could open your mouth and called a company that had be running for more than 2years a scam company because some set of useless gang up against the progress of the company and promise 7% of the money they will make. Maxwell needs to be taken to hospital for proper checkup definitely he has lost his brain…..

  144. Benneth Davies Onyelabuchukwu says:

When matters are twisted, they serve many purposes, but the one that stands out and that one is deception, because when lies are said always, they tend to look like truth just because poper findings weren’t made. Barr. Maxwell has only peddle nothing but lies and also undermined the fact that the case at hand had the accused confessing to the crime he committed by stealing $87Million from The company that employed him and that he has agreed to refund every dime which he stole and was granted bail to that effect, only to come up with a set of black mailers, impersonators of Afriq Arbitrage System, specialist in Cyberstalking and Cyberbulling who in spite of being aware of all the crimes of Aboyomi, decided to fight the CEO of AAS by call him names, and his clients threatening to kill (destroy) his entire family and also sending gun men after him.
All The CEO and the Entire Global Investors of AAS Want is, Abayomi just return our funds you stole and tell the world you only return below $6Million and pleaded you will return the rest of the money which you didn’t return but went out and started bragging and flaunting new properties you acquired with our money you stole which is why you are rearrested.

  145. Orimolade Folorunso says:

Don’t mind Barrister Maxwell, he is suffering from DEMENTIA (memory loss) disease.
How could a lawyer standing for cyber crimes criminals came out of the court proceedings and started addressing the press about stolen funds? Ñot only that, he turned everything upside down by passing his own judgement that the accused were saints and the person who lost his money to thief was a criminal . Don’t you know this is a real ALZHEIMER disease?
Bàr Maxwell go and hang off the lawyers gown and stop bringing shame to NBA

  146. Jecinta says:

No, not really, AAS is Real and Legit, ABAYOMI rendered investors of AAS poorer not JESAM MICHAEL the CEO , AAS is Real, ABAYOMI stole 87 million Dollars from the System

No, not really, AAS is Real and Legit, ABAYOMI rendered investors of AAS poorer not JESAM MICHAEL the CEO , AAS is Real, ABAYOMI stole 87 million Dollars from the System, please let the NBA ( Nigerian Bar Association) look into this matter ,and let justice be prevail

  148. Samuel says:

Jesam Michael didn’t scam investors, he has been with us till now with updates on challenges the Afriq Arbitrage is facing.

  149. Yekeen dele says:

D lawyer is a liar and bully. His clients are d accused who is defending. And what he was briefing d press about was not d case he is handling. Meaning, he was trying to brief d press a wrong narrative n a wrong case, so d complainant had to interrupt him forcefully.

  150. Divine says:

Jesam has not scammed any of it’s investors. AAS is a legit platform with a current roi of .035% after the platform was hacked by Abayomi and he has confessed of stealing from the platform. So all what you are saying has no backup. I am an investor from Cameroon. AAS we move

  151. Tunde Shonubi says:

This case is in court and it’s better it’s well verified.

AAS is a legit platform and Jesam Michael is not a scammer.

We have Spartans across countries that have benefitted from the platform before the enemy within Abayomi stole investors funds of $87m.

Those behind the lawyer committed offence of cyberbulling, treat to life and deformation of character.

The lawyer isn’t saying the truth.

  152. Lindiwe says:

This is pretty absurd tht individuals and institutions make comments without appraising themselves of the circumstances or the facts… A crime was not committed against Lawman Maxwell, a crime was committed against Investors and the CEO of the company they invested in, Afrique Arbitrage Systems… The defendants Max is representing, have already been deeply apologetic of their actions and the principle defendant, Mr. Abayomi has even confessed to the crime of stealing 87Million dollars from the coffers of AAS. Lawman Max takes sensationalism to the next level when he demonstrates his limited knowledge of the case by stating that the money tht was stolen was 100Million dollars… In so doing, he perjured himself and deeply affected his credibility in exercising his legal profession. What I see playing out here is a drama where most actors are attempting to have their 5 minutes of fame in the spotlight… This case is huge, and such actors like Lawman Max, do not have to be paid any attention to as they attempt to have a spin off show on this main event. The law is going to deal with Max, and as for the rest of us investors, we shall drown the noise and concentrate on how to get our stolen investment of 87Million dollars from Mr. and Mrs. Abayomi.

  153. Lindiwe says:

Mr. Maxwell should know that his actions and lies are affecting a whole lot of investors of AAS not just the company and the CEO, for him to lie just to protect his clients, those people are not even investors in AAS, we are the investors and we are not happy with the actions of Mr. Maxwell. We need justice for AAS investors all over the world and for the company and our CEO. The lawyer needs to be investigated too.

  154. Onyekachi Bishop says:

Whoa said that withdrawal hasn’t going on on AAS platform. All fallacy…that same period, I withdrawal from my account one of those mornings. It was this ingrate of Abayomi who has wished death for his employer Jesam Michael who used the vault handed over to him for his personal lists. That flashdrive which he is telling stories about, they should his former statements and search out where his sister or girlfriend whoever that is and return those funds back to the company. The lawyer peddling this rots should be charged for accomplice for defamation of character and personality, cyberbulling, cynerstalking and upturning the truth for selfish gains.
AAS Company is on its way to complete recovery but it will be fastracked if the funds in Abayomi coffers is returned ASAP.
The court should revisit his formal statements and files and expedite actions and this is my only sincere plea.

  155. Marshall says:

Barrister Maxwell Okpara has just misled the public with by telling lies.
The people he pointed to be investors on the AAS platform are not.
He should tow the path of honour and retract his lies since the matter is in court.

  156. Ayodele Gbenga says:

We want justice Abayomi stole our money and for barrister Maxwell giving fake reports to the community he needs to be investigated by the law makers our investors money is important to us stop blackmailing AAS and the CEO AAS is real

  157. Michaeldona says:

The CEO of Afriq Arbitrage System is not a scammer, as a matter of fact, he is the man God has sent to deliver man kind from ponzi master and mistress that bend on taking our hard earn money, I as a person have been a victim of so many fake platform untill I came across AAS in January 2023 and since then everything has been moving fine. In March 2023, the CEO was seriously I’ll and need to undergo a surgery for a liver transplant and the CEO handed the platform to his most trusted employee Abayomi, little did the CEO know that Abayomi was a traitor, Abayomi defrauded the company to the tune of $87million. When the CEO got back to his feet, he tried his best and resurrect the platform, he went after Abayomi legally and Abayomi was arrested. Now because Abayomi was arrested, Michael Okoh and his gang working for Abayomi started blackmail and cyber bullying Jesam the CEO of AAS and the AAS. Jesam is not a scammer and AAS is not a scam.

  158. ALBERT TONI EINSTEIN says:

Imagine interrupting the lawyer freedom of speech, what nonsense.

This Jesam guy supposed to be jailed cos from inception he lied AAS liquidity pool was locked that not even himself can take money from the company only for his so called developer guy Abayomi to steal $87million.

Jesam arrested and took Abayomi to court last year and was able to recover stolen properties and lands from Abayomi but guess what did Jesam do, he converted the properties and lands into his personal use indirectly by saying the properties and lands are use cases for a stupid AAST token he released on mid level crypto exchanges saying the AAST token will act as a fuel to fill up the stolen money, till today the purpose for the creation of the stupid AAST token has not been fulfilled. Mind you when Abayomi bought all this properties and lands, naira was 700 to a dollar. Instead of Jesam to sell off the properties when naira was 1100 to a dollar to replenish AAS liquidity pool so that normalcy will be restored for investors to withdraw their profits, Jesam converted all properties to his personal use and even furnished the lands and properties to international standards. I can categorically tell you that till today making it over a year plus, AAS investors are suffering and smiling because Jesam keeps sweet talking his investors and doesn’t want to open the withdrawals neither does he want to refund investors who wants their capital back.

  159. Michaeldona says:

As a matter of fact, the case is still on court and Abayomi has confess to his crime that he stole from the company AAS. We need justice for AAS and we need justice for our CEO Jesam Michael. Michael Okoh, Denok and the rest should be brought to book and that fake lawyer that Michael Okoh and his gang hire should also be brought to book for saying rubbish about our company AAS. We need justice for AAS, we need justice for our CEO Jesam Michael and we need justice for the global investor.

WHY WANTING TO TAKE ALL AND THEN CRASH IN THE PROCESS???

TO THINK THAT BOSS JEAAM HANDED NOT JUST AAS BUT HIS FAMILY TO YOU AT HIS ASSUMED DYING TIMES!!!

SO ABAYOMI WOULD HAVE DEALT A TERRIBLE BLOW TO THE WIFE AND KIDS OF HIS BOSS HAD THE UNTHINKABLE HAPPENED!!

Alleged Assault: Setting The Record Straight, Jesam Michael Is Victim, Not Maxwell Opara
May 10, 2024 by New Telegraph
To set the record straight, controversial legal practitioner, Michael Maxwell Opara is not the victim of the viral assault video trending on social media.
Rather, the CEO of Afriq Arbitrage System, Jesam Michael and thousands of investors of the financial platforms were the true victims of the unfortunate brouhaha that is playing out on social media.
It would be recalled that Jesam Michael who was the complainant at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), accusing Humble Prince Eta, Donald Michael, Fifeyin Awajumo and Michael Okoh of cyberbullying and cyber stalking.
They were picked up by the police where some shocking discovery was unearthed. Sadly, Maxwell Opara, despite knowing the truth, decided to advocate for them based on monetary gains.
Justice Joyce Abdumalik who was saddled with the responsibility of hearing the case filed by the IGP on behalf of Jesam Michael against the accused ordered the remand of the accused in the Kuje Correctional Centre until May 13, when the case is slated to come up for hearing again.
Interestingly, Jesam was billed to address the media about the ugly trend when Maxwell Opara hijacked the media platform to push a totally wrong narrative and fabrication which prompted Jesam Michael to interrupt him innocently.
Like someone who has an evil plot, like a scripted actor, Maxwell was shouting to an unseen cameraman saying cover him, cover him.
What many people don’t understand is that Maxwell Opara and the accused were allegedly working together for an alleged confessed fraudster, Abayomi Oluwasesan who admitted to stealing $87m of investors money run by Jesam. These are investors from over 540 countries, states and provinces of the world.
Being a man who believes in the security agencies and the rule of law in this country, Jesam toed the line of justice and this move angered Abayomi and his cohorts who have resorted to blackmail and fabrications on social media to sway the gullible followers to their journey of perdition.
That’s why Jesam Michael opened up that the accused persons have been threatening his life and promising to bring him down.
“We are against anyone going to social media, taking up pictures and videos to air out fake stories that Abayomi did not steal money.
“We keep saying if you think Abayomi didn’t steal the money, why not go to the police station and ask the police officers who investigated the case or go to the court where the case is,” said Michael.

He alleged that the four individuals circulated some messages against him on Facebook and WhatsApp in April where the accused who were never investors of the company threatened him, his family, workers and put up several incriminating lies against his person.

They were picked up by the police where some shocking discovery was unearthed. Sadly, Maxwell Opara, despite knowing the truth, decided to advocate for them based on monetary gains.

  165. Ijeoma says:

As an AAS investor, I stand with the CEO of Afrique Arbitrage system. It is disheartening seeing a lawyer Maxwell accusing our CEO of scamming his investors whereas the real culprit is already in prison having confessed his crime for stealing $87m from AAS company. This case of Abayomi is still in court. I wonder why a reputable lawyer in the person of Maxwell would deliberately called the CEO of a legit platform a SCAMMER on air.

Mr Okoh, Omar etc that the lawyer(Maxwell) is defending are not investors in AAS. These people (Okoh, Oma, Humble etc) committed cybercrime offense in which they threatened d CEO life , the wife’s and children’s life, assassination attempt of our CEO ( video evidence is available). Their case is still in court. They (Okoh, Oma, Humble, Denok etc) were arrested and reprimanded in prison. They confessed their crime and even apologized with written statements evidence upon evidence are available.

The action of the lawyer(Mr Maxwell) defending a criminal Abayomi who had already confessed his crime and currently in prison, turned around and called the ceo of AAS a SCAMMER, truly question the integrity of judiciary in this country.

The CEO of Afriq Arbitrage System is a man of integrity with a HEART OF GOLD, A PONZI-KILLER, who bents on liberating many globally from financial handicapped, and seeking for justice for AAS.

AAS is a global company, we the investors are solidly behind and stand with our CEO. We seek justice for our CEO and AAS global investors. Justice must prevail.

  166. Lindiwe says:

The situation involving Maxwell Opara, who was responsible for defending individuals in a cyberbullying case, has taken a dramatic turn. While Opara was representing Michael Okoh, Humble Etenge, and others, another legal matter involving Abayomi Oluwasesan and Afriq Arbitrage System came to light.

Abayomi’s involvement in a $87 million theft and subsequent confession added a layer of complexity to the situation. Despite not directly representing Abayomi in legal proceedings, Opara was seen commenting on the case between Abayomi and Afriq Arbitrage System. It was later unveiled that Opara’s keen interest in the case was tied to a promise from the individuals he was defending to share 7% of the stolen funds with him.

Opara’s actions have raised serious concerns about legal ethics and the objectivity of legal practitioners. This revelation highlights the paramount importance of upholding ethical standards and integrity within the legal profession.

The consequences of Opara’s conduct underscore the necessity for transparency and accountability in the legal field. This scandal serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with allowing personal gain to compromise the pursuit of justice and the equitable execution of the law. It serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of maintaining ethical standards in legal practice to uphold justice and fairness.

  167. Dele J says:

    This Lawyer goofed .
He contravened the rules of Professional Ethics as Legal Practitioners in Nigeria 🇳🇬.

Once a case is under the jurisdiction of a Court, it’s common principle of judicial practice that none, not even the parties involved, nor any lawyer engaged for that matter must go to media to begin another trial or hearing. It’s Contempt of the Court. The Court usually frowns at such conduct.

A case is subjudiced when anyone goes outside the court to make any forms of comment, conference or conclusion with respect to such case.

The Maxwell Okpara stands to be seriously reprimanded with the appropriate sanctions by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee.

In addition to the police investigation ongoing against Maxwell Okpara, I humbly advise once again that our AAS Legal Team submit a Petition to the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee ( LPDC ) against Barr. Maxwell Okpara for his breach of the rules of Professional Ethics which forbids Lawyer from discussing or granting interviews with respect to matters or proceedings ongoing in the Courts.

I felt ashamed of Maxwell Okpara’s conducts as a Lawyer too when I saw him delved into the live issues already before the Court in his Press interviews.
This is too bad for a Lawyer’s conduct!

Our AAS Legal Team appears more professional and must be guided always too, because the Newshounds would always come to them to scoop or scout for headlines.

When approached by the media, all a Lawyer could say is “ the Court has spoken, the next date of adjournment is “xyz “ it is subjudice to say anything further on this case. Thank you gentlemen of the Press for your interest .

Pronto ! You discharge the Press and go your way .
This is best practice we all learn as Lawyers.
Anyone as a Lawyer , including Maxwell Okpara who contravenes the rules must face the consequences of their actions.

AAS is fraud. Locked people’s funds and no ROI since April 2023.

You told investors that they will have access to their funds anytime they need it.

Some people are demanding for their capital fund and you are tagging them enemies of AAS and using some security operatives to harras them.

I believed that the best thing to do was to release these people’s capital to them and forge ahead with those happy with the situation.

But I believed no one is happy with that if not people that were paid to say so.
