‘White collar jobs are scarce, acquire skills’ – Proprietor urges corps members
The Proprietor of Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Mr David Abuluya, has advised youth corps members to embrace different skills to be self-reliant.
According to him, skills will also make them employers of labour and contribute positively to the development of society.
He advised while playing host to serving members of the Culture and Tourism CDS group, NYSC, in Akwanga Local Government Area, on Friday.
Abuluya, who is the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA) Worldwide, underscored the importance of skills acquisition to human and societal development, hence the need of his call in that direction.
“I want to call on you to learn and acquire skills to help yourselves, and your families and contribute positively to the development of society.
“As white-collar jobs are now very scarce, your parents have invested so much in your education, you should learn skills to be self-reliant and employers of labour,” he urged.

“By God’s grace, we will take some of you to Eggon hill to see things for yourselves,” he said.
“Eggon people are well known for their hard work, industry, integrity and friendly,” he told them.
