Wike Appoints Amb. Maureen Tamuno As New Managing Director Of Abuja Investment Company

A former Nigerian High Commissioner to Jamaica, Belize, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic, Amb. Maureen Tamuno has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Abuja Investment Company Limited by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Nyesom Wike.

Tamuno is an experienced public officer, entrepreneur, and diplomat, Mr Anthony Ogunleye, Director of Press, Office of the Minister, said in a statement announcing the appointment.

He disclosed that the appointment was with immediate effect.

Ogunleye also revealed in the statement that Wike has terminated the contract of Messrs Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd, for the management of the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

He said that the termination was with immediate effect, adding that Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, has been contracted for the immediate and comprehensive renovation of the centre.
