Wike’s Media Aide Hits Back at Fubara’s Complaints: ‘You Haven’t Seen Insults Yet
Lere Olayinka, a media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has hit back at Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara over his recent complaints of attacks from Wike’s camp.
Fubara, speaking on Thursday after signing the N1.1 trillion 2025 budget in Port Harcourt, expressed his frustration, stating that he had tolerated enough insults from Wike’s camp and would no longer accept further attacks.
Olayinka, responding on his official X handle on Friday, dismissed Fubara’s complaints, claiming that the governor has been funding social media attacks against Wike. He called out Fubara, saying the governor has yet to experience the kind of insults he was complaining about.
Olayinka wrote, “From the Judas of Opobo, who has been paying hundreds of people to attack Wike on social media since 2023 ooo. Just one month, and he’s already lamenting. Insults wey you neva start to dey see yourself. Nonsensical nonsense.”
The war of words between the two leaders continues to escalate, as tensions remain high between Fubara and Wike.
