Yobe State Approves Promotion for 1,000 Teaching Staff in Education Boost
The Yobe State Government has approved the promotion of 1,000 teaching staff across the state as part of its continuous effort to improve the education sector.
This announcement was made in a statement signed by Fatima Zakari Baba, the Information and Public Relations Officer of the Teaching Service Board (TSB), following a management meeting at the Board’s headquarters in Damaturu.
In the statement, Alhaji Yakubu Dokshi, the Executive Chairman of the TSB, expressed his satisfaction with the promotion exercise, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of teachers’ dedication to their profession. “I am delighted to inform you that 1,000 teachers have been promoted across the state. This reflects their hard work and commitment in shaping a stronger education system in Yobe,” Dokshi said.
He praised the TSB management for their efforts in driving educational reforms in the state and encouraged teachers to continue being punctual, resilient, and dedicated to providing quality education.
Dokshi also commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for making education a key priority in his administration’s agenda, reinforcing the government’s commitment to enhancing the sector.
