2027: APGA ready for alliance with fellow progressives – Ezeokenwa
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has declared its readiness to collaborate with other progressive political forces across party lines to build a Nigeria that citizens can be proud of.
National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, reiterated this commitment during a press briefing in Abuja, echoing similar sentiments expressed by the party’s National Leader and Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo.
Ezeokenwa highlighted that with the party’s internal leadership tussle resolved by a Supreme Court judgment affirming his chairmanship, APGA is now poised to reclaim its position in Nigeria’s political landscape.
He stated, “APGA proudly has elected representatives within and outside the South East. We are ready and willing to work with all other progressives to build Nigeria because we believe in our country.
“As part of our commitment to reconciliation, we have granted amnesty to party members who are genuinely repentant, irrespective of which side they supported during the crisis.”
The chairman also commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a minister in his cabinet, describing it as a recognition of APGA’s contributions to national development.
Ezeokenwa expressed gratitude to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his leadership, both at the party level and in Anambra State. He praised Soludo’s policies and programs, which he said were demonstrating to the world how effective leadership could bring value to society.
With these developments, APGA says it is ready to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress and foster collaboration among like-minded political entities.
