Appeal Court Upholds Julius Abure as Labour Party’s National Chairman

The Court of Appeal has delivered a decisive ruling affirming Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP). The ruling was confirmed through an official notification shared on the Labour Party’s X handle, stating, “Barr Julius Abure remains the LP National Chairman, Appeal Court Rules.”

In response to the court’s decision, the Party’s Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, verified the ruling, reinforcing the legal validation of Abure’s leadership.

This ruling comes after a prior judgment from the Federal High Court, which had already recognized Abure as the legitimate leader of the party.
