Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed’s fiery comment, “We will show President Tinubu our actual colour,” has sparked outrage and criticism from the Presidency, which has labeled the remarks as irresponsible and damaging to the nation’s unity.

Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to President Tinubu, condemned the governor’s words as a dangerous departure from the cooperative spirit needed to solve Nigeria’s pressing issues. Dare further reminded the governor that Bauchi State had received a significant N144 billion in federal allocations, including funds for food security, yet the state continues to grapple with poverty and underdevelopment.

Instead of issuing threats, Dare urged Governor Mohammed to work with the federal government to effectively utilize the resources already provided for the benefit of his people and to prioritize national unity above divisive actions.
