Budget Padding: ‘I dare Senate to allow Ningi talk’ – Arise TV host, Rufai Oseni

Famous Nigerian journalist, Rufai Oseni, has dared the Senate to allow Senator Abdul Ningi talk freely about his allegations over the 2024 Appropriation Act.

The statement followed the ongoing deliberation on the floor of the Senate over the allegation by Ningi that the 2024 budget was padded.

The senator had earlier alleged that N3.7 trillion was padded into the 2024 budget.

Ningi is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Population and represents PDP, Bauchi Central.

Oseni in a post on his X handle on Tuesday specifically said: “I dare the senate to allow Ningi talk for 10mins nonstop.”
