“CAC Warns Against Fraudulent Impersonation of Registrar-General”

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has issued a public warning regarding fraudulent activities involving individuals using cloned phone numbers to impersonate the Registrar-General/CEO, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN.

In a series of tweets posted on its official handle @cacnigeria1, the CAC revealed that these fraudsters are pretending to be associates or agents of the Registrar-General, attempting to deceive and defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

The Commission emphasized that the Registrar-General disassociates himself from these fraudulent activities, warning that anyone engaging with these impostors does so at their own risk.

The CAC further urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious calls or activities to the relevant authorities.

“Please be cautious and don’t hesitate to report such callers. Thank you, and God bless,” the statement concluded.
