Kogi fraud: ‘White Lion docked’ – Dino Melaye mocks Yahaya Bello over arraignment

Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has mocked the immediate past governor of the state, Yahaya Bello, following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The EFCC arraigned Bello at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday over fraud allegedly committed while he was in office.

Bello, dressed in a white Babanriga and beaming with smiles, entered the courtroom to chants of “Saaki” from his teeming followers and political aides.

This followed the former governor submitting himself to the anti-graft agency in the company of his successor, Usman Ododo, and his lawyers on Tuesday.

Reacting, Melaye posted on X: “Ex-White Lion Docked!”
