Ondo PDP suspends youth leader

The Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has suspended its youth leader,  Mr Folorunso Makinde.

The party’s state Publicity Secretary, Mr Kennedy Peretei, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday.

The statement read, “Pursuant to Section 58(1)(b)(f) and (i) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017, the State Working Committee has approved the indefinite suspension of the state youth leader, Mr Folorunso Makinde, for engaging in activities likely to bring the party to disrepute.

“He is accordingly advised to appear before the State Disciplinary Committee of the party for further interrogations within the next seven days.

“The party wishes to state unambiguously that it will not be detered by the crafty devices of the APC who may have found a willing tool within the PDP to continue to ride rough shod on the good people of Ondo State.”
