Otti thanks Tinubu for approving $125M Islamic Development Bank facility for Abia
Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has thanked President Bola Tinubu for approving $125 million financing facility from Islamic Development Bank, IsDB, for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project.
A statement from the state government on Thursday, said the approval was given at the Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting, Wednesday, August 13.
The statement signed by Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said that Otti was appreciative of the National Assembly, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of Economy, VP of IsDB and among others.
It explained that construction of approximately 126 kilometres of road network in Aba and 35.57 kilometres in Umuahia would be supported with the approved financial facility.
The state government further listed critical erosion control works within the project sites to be executed.
