PICTORIAL: Nigerian man, Kingsley Ogbuji, promoted to major in US army
A Nigerian man, Kingsley Ogbuji, has been promoted to Major in the US Army.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram on Monday, July 1 2024, Kingsley wrote, “To God be the glory, I am amazed”
The presiding officer, LGT Bagle, congratulated Kingsley, saying, “Congratulations to you on your selection and promotion to MAJOR. It was an honour for me to preside over your ceremony and I appreciate the opportunity.
“At this new level, more will be expected of you but you will be prepared. Continue to strive for excellence.”
Ogbuji is also a volunteer for UNICEF USA and holds a Master of Arts degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
