A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Peter Abidemi Olaoluwa, popularly known as ‘OPA,’ has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu’s policies will address the shortcomings of past administrations and drive meaningful development in Nigeria.
Speaking to party members at the APC State Secretariat in Ibadan, Olaoluwa emphasized the party’s commitment to learning from previous mistakes and implementing strategies that prioritize national growth and the welfare of citizens.
He urged Nigerians to exercise patience and trust in the APC-led administration’s ability to turn the nation’s fortunes around, assuring that the policies and programs in place would yield positive outcomes over time.
“The APC is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of Nigerians and ensuring that the country is back on track,” Olaoluwa stated, calling for continued support from citizens as the government works to implement its agenda.
He said: “The policies put in place by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are to correct past mistakes. He is an accountant, as I am. We accountants know the nooks and crannies of the economy, and we know what to put in place to correct the wrongs in the economy.
“The policies of the President are to correct the wrong of past administrations, though, it may take time to correct, but if we can support his policies, there will be light at the end of the day.”
However, he pledged continuity of his support to the party, urging members of the party in the state to unite so that the party could regain power in the state come 2027.
