Zamfara gov presents N423bn 2024 budget to Assembly

The Zamfara State Government has budgeted the sum of N424.3 billion for the 2024 fiscal year.

Presenting the budget before the state House of Assembly, Governor Dauda Lawal said his administration would give priority attention to security, health, and education.

The governor observed that that the state was the last in the country in terms of development, assuring that he would change the narrative during his tenure.

He also promised to end banditry in the state, which he said, was responsible for the snail’s pace of development.
